My first Magic Spoon Disappointment
Everything I've ever had from Magic Spoon has been awesome. Until these. I hated these. They are nothing like a traditional toaster pastry. In fact, they can't even be heated in a regular toaster. The consistency is similar to a Fig Newton but with very minimal filling. Just a barely there red line in the middle of the driest, most awful tasting pastry. I imagine it's the protein content that makes it taste so bad. It's very chalky and dry. The filling didn't really have much of a flavor because there was so little. The icing is the reason they can't be popped into a vertical toaster. Not really enough to taste, though. There's only four in a box and I only finally tried these because of a discount. Very grateful I never tried these at full price because I very much dislike them and the price is way too steep for four. I still have one left and I don't want to waste it but I am dreading choking it down. I have tried them room temp, heated, and chilled. Nothing really helped. Magic Spoon had some amazing products but this is a huge miss for me. I do not recommend.

Dry with no filling
It’s like they forgot to put in the strawberry filling. GF people always get the short end of the stick, I’ll be returning

Nastiest thing ever
I never write reviews, but this is the worst tasting thing ever!! It’s like a dry piece of rotten cardboard. The filling is nonexistent. And the instructions say to not put it in the toaster because the frosting well melt and burn?! It’s like throwing money down the toilet and then licking the bowl afterwards. That’s how bad it is.

Delicious!!!
I really wanted to try these! Im gluten free and have to watch my sugar. I found these at my store and bought the frosted strawberry and smores. I've only tried the strawberry and already hooked 😍 they remind me of nutrigrain and poptarts combo. So good!! You guys are doing an amazing job and thank you for your amazing cereals. Love magicspoon 🤘🏽

Nope.
Taste is not it. It definitely has a protein bar flavor. But not a good one. Gave it 3-4 bites and threw the rest of the bar and box away. No one in the family liked it either.

Wonderful
This is one of my favorite high protein treats! I really like the flavor. I just wish there was a little more filling there :)

disturbingly dry with barely any filling
the texture is like stuffing your mouth with flour. there was so little filling that the inside had bald spots. the sugar was ironically the only thing i could taste because the thing has zero flavor. if you want to try it, no you don't. if you already have it, your best bet is to microwave it and have it with coffee or use it as graham cracker crust.

Should not be on the shelves
I wish I read the reviews before buying this item at the store. I’ll know better for next time. These are horrible. Made the entire family sick to our stomachs.

Okay flavor, Gross texture
These toaster pastries are better than some other low carb ones but they’re still inedible gross. I don’t know what I’ll do with the other 5 bars since I can’t stomach them. I’d avoid them if you want something that actually resembles a pop tart as this is not that.

Wanted to like them
I love other magic spoon products but unfortunately these are not good. The pastry is an odd texture that stays chewy and bready even when you toast it. There is very little filling and even if there was more, I don't think it would make up for the awful taste and texture of the pastry.
