Flavorless, disgusting, artificial sugar and flavor taste similar to protein powder

Used to absolutely love it, but the recipe changed? Grittier and not satisfying. Now I’m stuck with a huge bag :(

It tasted weird at first but then the flavor grew on me where 1 bag is not enough. I live me some Dark chocolate!! And I'm getting my protein out of this. And glad to know there's healthy cereals out there that fit your metabolic needs... Will always buy more!!

This cereal is awful and no as healthy as some people may think. Taste unnatural and they use horrible substitutes for sugar. Honesty the would be better off using organic cane sugar and instead other crap they make in lab somewhere. Also it’s still contains seed oils which cause high inflammation and make you fat.

This stuff is good in theory, BUT the flavor is bizarre. It tastes strongly of artificial sweetener and flavor… It has an off texture-super hard-and leaves a film on your tongue. I’d pass on this one- big time.

Love the cereal but ridiculous you don’t sell 20 ounce or more sizes. So it’s not a real cereal but more a snack. What a shame! Losing customers

This is my favorite Catalina cereal flavor. It’s my go to on the mornings I’m in a rush. I mix in a little bit of unsweetened bran cereal to cut the sweetness, add some chopped walnuts, and I’m good to go.

The other flavors are great, but this flavor is absolutely terrible

This Cinnamon Toast cereal is delicious! It is great as my morning breakfast with almond milk AND as a dry snack! Love it!

If you read the ingredients, you can see why this is a great product. Here is what makes it great. It’s not quite the best tasting cereal you’ll ever have. But the differential in health benefits from other cold breakfast cereals put it off the charts. Here’s why: 1. The levels of protein and fiber are so much higher than everything else that even if it didn’t taste good it is something that’s good for you if you could just hold you nose and get it down. 2. The facts that it uses stevia as a sweetener provides a lot of health value in that stevia is a natural sweetener. So you don’t have the very bad effects of sugar endemic to most cereals and you don’t have to incur the damage done by the chemicals involved in other sweeteners like aspartame and saccharine. 3. While stevia does not taste as good as sugar, the cereal hits the sweet taste buds on your tongue in such a big way, that it has afforded me the luxury of mixing it with plain Cheerios which provides for a very satisfying but not too sweet breakfast. And we all know that the oats and only 2g of sugar in plain Cheerios make for one of the healthier cereal options out there. 4. The fiber in Catalina Crunch is so strong that it will keep almost anyone regular. Within 30 minutes most times for me. It’s great to be able to get emptied out in the morning before golf or pickleball or any activity where you may be indisposed for a few hours.

When I say, “awful aftertaste“ the after is a little bit generous. The bad taste begins creeping in halfway through chewing up your first bite. While the initial mouth taste does remind you of your favorite, cinnamon, toast, cereal from growing up, it is overtaken and ruined by the lingering flavor of… sweet Chickpeas? Bitter soap? It is difficult to categorize, but it is singularly unpleasant. Will not be buying again, and I probably will not even finish the bag. Or the first bowl.

They changed the recipe!! This used to be my favorite cereal and now the new texture ruins it. So disappointing

The macros really made me want to like these especially the fiber but the taste is not good. Tastes like cardboard

I love the fact that it tastes similar to my favorite childhood fruity flavored cereals. I forget if this new formula tastes different than the last. I don't like the fact it has seed oils and yeast. I think it causes gut issues for me. Probably not the fiber because I usually eat lots of fiber. Not sure it's good enough to eat alone plus too expensive so I use it as a topper. This is my favorite flavor so far.

Used to taste really good. Now it tastes more like the graham flavor. Seed oil bad. Disappointing.
