I love any type of Cheerios but with a bit of extra protein this cereal is unbeatable. I usually eat this for breakfast or snack on it dry but you still need to be careful about the carbs and sugar if you’re trying to lose weight because the calories in it aren’t that low.

Loving the variety
I am really enjoying the new Cheerios Protein cereals. I have to eat Gluten Free due to an allergy. I am very pleased that there are so many Cheerios options. The Cookies and Cream and the Cinnamon flavors are my favorite. The Strawberry flavor is very mild. While nice, I like the stronger flavors of the Cookies and Cream and Cinnamon. I try to eat higher protein on a daily basis, and this has what has caused me to avoid cereals as a go-to breakfast option. Now I can have cereal again to add variety. I get tired of eggs and meat. My kids love the cereal too.

The texture is still good and crunchy, but the flavor is too mild for my liking. It gives you a hint of cookies and cream but doesn't have the rich flavor I was hoping for. It's an okay way to get some extra protein, but if you're looking for a bold, indulgent cookies and cream flavor, this might disappoint. I'll probably stick to a different flavor next time.

No Protein Taste
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have made it a goal to try and add more protein to my diet. This can sometimes be difficult especially when a lot of higher protein foods taste more like protein powder and less like the actual food you are eating. However, the Cookies N Cream Protein Cheerios really surprised me. With 8 grams of protein per cup, this makes for an easy way to get that extra protein without the awful taste. I love them with milk in the mornings but also as a little snack while I’m working. I was also a little concerned on how the texture would be but there isn’t any difference. I’ve always loved Cheerios. Now, I’m adding these to my favorites. I have already tried the strawberry and cinnamon protein Cheerios and they are delicious as well.
