Ergobaby Alta 2-in-1 All Carry Positions Baby Carrier and Hip Seat

I was very hesitant on buying this carrier, but I’m so glad I bought it. It’s truly a game changer. My baby sits perfectly on the seat, super comfortable for babies. I’ve tried many carriers and this one is my favorite, seriously! #notapaidreview

My baby is a big boy at 25 lbs and my shoulders and neck were hurting so much that I made the decision to buy this. So far it’s has been a huge relief, almost no more pain (plus PT), and he seems to like it as well! It’s comfortable, easy to take on and off, and looks easy to wash. Highly recommend.

I really wanted to like this carrier but I just can’t. The storage appears to be great but the side pocket is so small, it hardly closes with my phone in it and digs at my side. The pocket in the seat isn’t even accessible if you have a child in the carrier, they must be taken out in order to access it due to the zipper placement. In the video it shows the woman sliding the arm straps over and THEN clipping the back, well let me tell you that is nearly IMPOSSIBLE clipping that back strap with a baby in front. Super unrealistic. And the waist belt buckle is more setback and hidden under fabric making it difficult to actually clip the buckle. Fabric is constantly getting in the way. The head cover in the top front pocket falls out and there’s nothing to keep it in the pocket so be prepared to push it back in any time you put your baby on. I have a long baby and her head barely gets past the top of the carrier so her face is practically buried in. So many design flaws it’s just a waist

Wanted to love this but I hate it and can’t return it anymore so just lost money the part of the legs is too tight for a chunky baby, my baby legs turn red and can’t loosen up it’s uncomfortable to get it one straps are to tight to adjust. My baby is 9 month old and weights 21 pounds I had to put a strap so his poor legs don’t get hurt

I have tried to order this 3 times and target has sent the ergobaby newborn carrier instead of this one all 3 times. Even when I included a note on the return explaining the issue they sent the wrong one. Seems to be an error in the system that has the newborn carrier classed as this one but I’m going to have to return it yet again and purchase elsewhere.

Bought this for our baby boy and it’s perfect! the best carrier around especially for boys! I tried a couple other brands but nothing beats this! Definitely a little pricey but well worth it.

It's great quality, but not comfortable for either of us. Hopefully it's better for him as he grows.

I have tried 4 carriers and this one is it for me. I don’t know what I did before I found this gem. Your back will thank you :)

Wore this to the Indy 500 and it was such a nice and convenient item. We were able to walk 6-7 miles carrying our 6 month old with no fuss. She was also able to lay across it while we were seated and sleep.

I really wanted to love this carrier! I couldn’t wait for it to come back in stock. The concept is great but it can be quite uncomfortable. I’ve tried multiple adjustments and positions, but it seems to dig into my body no matter which way I do it. I bought it for a trip to Disneyland and planned to use it to carry baby in the long lines, however, I’m considering bringing another carrier instead.

Live this carrier! Super easy to put on, stays in place for the most part and is easy to adjust, and SAVED my back that was hurting so much with a different carrier. I wear my babe all day long, and this is definitely the BEST carrier I’ve used.

I really like this brand and have a lot of other products this brand so when I saw this hip carrier I had to have it over the tush baby. After receiving and testing it out it gave me lower back pain has very little back support and it made the hip I would carry baby on hurt bad. I also tried placing this carrier at different “heights” all throughout my torso to see if that would help with the pain but it did not. This carrier also doesn’t have pockets and is very bulky. Had to return it mostly due to the pain. Save your money.

Really wanted to love this but because the material is stretchy around the shoulders, I had to really tighten it (multiple times) for my baby to feel supported and at the right level. So while I felt comfortable, my baby acted like she couldn’t take a deep breath because of how tight I had to make it.

Easy to use, quick to get the baby set up in. Definitely on the warmer side, so good for the colder months. We go hiking in the woods a lot, and I feel this carrier is better suited for more even ground walking rather than the trails. But it’s great for errands and city life.

Bought this as I’ve been wanting a hip seat carrier for the past couple of years and wanted one from a reputable brand. I bought right away when I saw Ergo Baby carried them. The only thing that I don’t love about it is I find it hard to get the waist band small/tight enough to fit me. (I just had our 2nd baby 7 weeks ago so I’m not super slim right now either.) My husband mostly uses it with our almost 2 year old because it fits him better.

My daughter love this! I do too! We've had a lot of fun together with this carrier. I strap her on and chase our pups together. It's a blast!

I have the ALTA HIP SEAT BABY CARRIER. My son is in the 97th percentile at 6 months so this carrier has been so helpful for my back. Having the hip seat encourages me to lean back while walking unlike other carriers that I feel like are pulling me forward and making my back very sore! I use the carrier once a day if not more and love the beige color! Once my son grow out of the shoulder straps, I can can detach them and just use the seat like a Fanny pack. Honestly it so versatile and functional.
