This pan is replacing one that got severely burned into the ceramic. The Sq. grill pan is more delicate and is therefore easier to burn than the smooth grill pans. First cleaned it before first use. Than after first time using it, this one seems a lot smoother and easier to clean than the first pan. The handle on the first pan after two years use was starting to losen up from the pan, then got more so until I scorched it.
