Best boot I have ever had.. been on 7 deployments and these are the only boot I'll wear.. good in cold and warn weather. Great for ruck marches...

Boots do not survive severe floods when performing land navigation. If you obtain boots that will be exposed to flooded areas, make sure they are not steel toe.

6 years, thousand of miles up mountains, across creeks and downs swamps, half the time used in construction as a work boot finally here I am buying a new pair of maybe the best boots ever made because I wore the soles flat. I let you in on a secret: if you size down 1/2 size remove the factory insoles for say install a senco flat insole these things will mold to your feet like no others a provide you with very little drop if any while still retaining some protection (shank and super picture resistant vibrancy outsole). The boots are super sturdy but still very flexible, the combo of materials is very well executed. My old pair still stands up! The toe box is wide but hugs the outside of your big toe so make sure the ball of your foot is not much further than the last eyelet. There is a slight curve in the sole that somewhat marks the spot. The heel is super solid and the boot itself provides a ton of ankle protection the upper above the ankle is mostly denier and is heavily padded and does get hot but draws moisture out efficiently. The eyelet are ok, they are somewhat loose, they like to spin after a few months and will trash your laces in a short minute. I “crimp” them up and they stopped spinning eventually but a standard round eyelet would be better in my opinion.

Although not aesthetically pleasing, these are the best Army Flight boot on the market.

They are true to size for wide feet. So far, the quality is excellent and they are comfortable like I remember when I was active duty.

They do seem to run a touch small but overall an awesome product, broke in in less than a week and still very comfortable despite being a bit tight

I have worn these from the first time they were released and have never been disappointed

after two pairs of S2V's both Sand and black leather that lasted around 6+ years -each- and were instantaneously comfortable, these however are painful to wear, so far I dread putting them on each day and prior to don't remember a break in period being this painful, if anything id say these run smaller then normal S2V's, ill do my best to break them in but so far am not impressed on any level in comparison to the original S2V's

I have ankle issues since I served and these boots have made it so I can do things that I can’t do without them! Boots are excellent!

Out of all the service boots I've gotten so far, these are top notch. Great ankle support without feeling too constricting, and were surprisingly comfortable during the break in phase. I don't wear very thick socks, got my normal shoe size and they fit perfectly. Not to mention they look pretty darn good.

The boots are great quality just run small. Gave them to my son who loves them.

Bought about 1 month ago and they fit great - good for day to day ops. Light weight and so far durable.

I AM SURE THEY ARE GOOD BOOTS, BUT I BOUGHT THE WRONG SIZE, BUT THE SIZE MY SON THOUGHT, I GOT AN 8 AND HE NEEDED 8.5, HE'S IN THE AIR FORCE AND ENDED UP BUYING SOME THERE ON BASE. SO I STILL HAVE THE SIZE 8 THAT HAVE NEVER BEEN WORN! MY SON DOES LIKE THEM!

This is my third pair and I would not ever buy a different boot. Perfect fit, perfect balance of comfort and toughness, and long lasting.

Will not break in after weeks of wear. Has those short, sharp laces. Not too comfortable. Look good though, that's about it.

Boots are narrow and .5 smaller on sizes..Love the boots..i wear Sz.11, but ordered Sz.11.5R and 11W..

Theses boots are very comfortable and have a snug fit. They support my arches and protect my ankles all day. I like how they can take a beating without tearing. Awesome value for your buck!!

I bought this boot awhile back then my son just bought it too. It’s my go to hiking boot. Comfortable, easy break in, good traction. We both went wide, worth it for extra room. Not waterproof at all, but dries very quickly.
