Good buy...
I purchased 2 record stations. I wanted to set up an inexpensive audio system console by placing it side by side for vinyl records on the left and on the right my stereo receiver and 5-disk CD player. The bottom drawers would be used for my music CDs and DVDs. The shipping was great by FedEx. There was no damage to the shipping boxes. The product was heavy to pick up, so I used a portable hand cart to move it to the living room. The product was packed very well. There were no visible blemishes. The instructions were very easy to understand with detailed product illustrations. I’ve had my share of putting together cabinets, and the product instructions are some of the best I’ve seen. No parts were missing on the two I purchased. Each part was packed in a plastic number label bag. I was surprised it came with wood glue for the wood doles You don’t get that on most of these types of products. It’s made from particle wood with a vynil finish. It’s 5/8 thickness. The other thing I liked was that the bottom drawer racks were preinstalled, so you don’t have to spend extra time putting that part together. Since I wanted to create an audio system console, I took the back panels that had a cutout on the top and flipped it upside down so the cutout was at the bottom. That’s for the station on the right side of my setup. The stereo receiver and the 5-disc DC player power cords and for speaker wires come out from the back panel. I did the same for the record station that’s for my small vinyl collection. I had some problems putting the bottom drawers aligned with the preinstalled racks, and on the first try it got stuck midway through. It wiuld not go in all the way. I took it out again and moved the silver parts on the side wall racks forward. Then I put the bottom drawer aligned with the side tacks, and it slid all the way to the closed position. So watch for that when installing the bottom drawer. Overall, it looks fine for my audio system setup. It’s not a high-end audio console like I would have liked, but it works for my purpose. Glad to purchase the product at a good price. I would recommend this product if you want an inexpensive record station or audio system console setup.
