Pennington The Rebels Tall Fescue Grass Sun or Shade Grass Seed 3 pound

I was able to easily spread and the colored seed allowed me to see where I had covered. The seeds began to sprout quickly, but it was late in the season and the leaves began to fall and I lost track of the progress. Seems to be a good seed and I will try again in the spring.

The seeds sprouted nicely and I started seeing new growth quicker than I expected, which was super satisfying. As the grass filled in, it started looking thicker and healthier, and it has such a rich green color that really makes the yard look more alive. It feels sturdy too, like it can handle kids or pets running around without getting patchy right away. One thing I've noticed is that it definitely does best when you baby it a little in the beginning, because good watering and soil prep make a big difference. Once it's established though, it seems pretty resilient and doesn't stress as easily in the heat as some grasses I've tried in the past. I've been using Rebels Tall Fescue for just over three weeks (Sept), and I have to say, it really brought my lawn back to life. It filled in dead and bare spots quickly and noticeably thickened the overall coverage. The growth has been healthy and consistent, and I was impressed by how fast the results showed. That said, I've realized I'm not as fond of the look of fescue grass-it has a slightly more coarse, "weed-like" appearance than I personally prefer. But that's purely a matter of taste, not performance. Overall, Rebels Tall Fescue does exactly what it promises: it revives your lawn and delivers lush, durable coverage.

We've seeded the yard the past two years but no success. So I was more than willing to give this a try and I'm thrilled with the results. I was shocked at how fast the grass grew! We are only about three weeks in- check out the pictures from Day 1 - now!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for a review, I have used this in the past and am using it now Fescue is the best grass i think, this is a good mix too I actually a bit to grow before it started to get cold, so i am expecting it to come back up in the spring, this mix is hearty and lays down nicely, it does recommend you add fertilizer however, to aid in growth and you definitely need to water. Being as it is the end of the season I won't have any pictures to share of it growing !

It truly grew so fast and so thick in areas of the yard that were bare due to no full sun, but this Rebels brand fescue doesn't require full sun so it filled it quickly and full! Highly recommend and will purchase again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in East Tennessee and it can be a little hard to grow grass here. The sun is very strong and it's very hot outside. I used it in both shaded and sunny areas in my yard and both areas grew well. I used it for small bald spots in the lawn and a large patch mixed with topsoil and both areas grew great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is the yard person and typically uses Scott's for grass seed. I was given the opportunity to try Rebels for free. My husband is always skeptical of new things but he did put it down. We were both pleasantly surprised that within 10 days it started to germinate. We unfortunately had a severe storm and some was washed away but I'm hopeful that when everything dries up it will come back. My husband was impressed and plans on purchasing Rebels for the rest of the yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Review of free product the Rebels Tall Fescue in exchange for honest review. Our grass was looking sad, patchy, weedy and dry. It's looking much better now about a month after applying this seed. It's fuller, greener and less weedy - not perfect but there's definite improvement. You have to apply fertilizer first and water the seed in... I don't know how much of the improvement should be attributed to those items. Product was applied in early September, usually a very hot time in Sacramento but it's been a mild summer and the week it is used the temperature didn't exceed 90. I will be using the product again!

The grass is so much greener and full now! My pets are loving it and my one cat who loves to eat grass loves this kind so much I have to keep going out and stopping her from eating it lol ( she is healthy but is black and white and thinks she is a cow apparently ) The new grass came in fast a furious and I've used other grass product before but none worked like this!
