A: The seed blend in our Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade is as follows: Wendy Jean Creeping Red Fescue, Brynn Creeping Red Fescue, Sword II Chewing Fescue, Vision Perennial Ryegrass, Process Perennial Ryegrass, Jumpstart Kentucky Bluegrass, Gaelic Kentucky Bluegrass, and Dauntless Kentucky Bluegrass. The types and breakdowns of the seeds can change throughout the year due to availability. Each bag will have the breakdown of type and cultivar of seed on its seed label. This label is generally located on the back of the product near the bar code.

Q: Can I expect a successful growth if I plant the seeds in the summer?
A: We recommend applying Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade in either the spring or early fall. Do not apply when the high temperature is expected to be over 85°F.
