Description
Root out the toughest weeds and grasses with Roundup® Dual Action Weed & Grass Killer Plus 4 Month Preventer with Sure Shot™ Wand. This formula kills existing weeds and grass down to the root, and prevents new weeds from growing for up to 4 months by creating an invisible barrier in the soil. Apply only where you want to kill existing weeds AND prevent future weed growth for up to 4 months, such as cracks and crevices in driveways, sidewalks, and patios, along fences, in mulched beds or around the base of well-established desirable plants, shrubs, or trees, and on gravel areas. In order to prevent new weeds and grasses from growing, you must spray the entire area you want to control, not just the emerged weeds. For best results, apply during warm, sunny weather above 60°F. Rain or watering 30 minutes after application will NOT wash away effectiveness. After application, weeds will begin to yellow and wilt within hours with complete kill in 1 to 2 weeks. All ornamental bedding plants (annuals and perennials), trees, shrubs, sod and seed can be planted 4 months after application. Roundup® Dual Action covers up to 300 sq. ft.

Q: what makes the sprayer spray

A: Hello there! We are more than happy to assist you with our Roundup Dual Action Weed & Grass Killer Plus 4 Month Preventer sprayer. The sprayer tip should easily rotate to select your desired spray pattern or to turn the sprayer "off." If it's not turning, here are a couple of things you can try: Residue Buildup: Product residue can build up around the tip, preventing it from turning. Try soaking ONLY the sprayer tip in warm water for about 10-15 minutes. This should help loosen and remove any residue. Thread Check: It's also possible that the threads on the sprayer are stripped, which could prevent the tip from turning.

A: Hello Merryanne! Thanks for your question. To use the wand included with Roundup Dual Action Weed & Grass Killer Plus 4 Month Preventer please follow the steps below. 1. Flip up the spout on the cap or twist knob on cap to the ON position (arrow must be pointing to the middle of ON) 2. Flip open the wand until it locks into position 3. Twist the nozzle at the end of the wand to the desired spray pattern 4. Make sure that the trigger lock is disengaged before spraying 5. Hold the trigger down for continuous spray *Batteries have a shelf life that will last for approximately 2 - 1.33 bottles. The unit holds either 4 or 3 Double A (AA) batteries.

We have do not have any products that have been tested or registered specifically for use on artificial turf. We recommend contacting the company who installed the artificial turf or the turf manufacturer for information on what you can safely apply to the turf to control weeds.

It should not be used to spot treat individual weeds in the lawn. It can damage/kill any green growing plant that it is sprayed on, including grasses. This product can be used to renovate (reseed) the lawn. Wait 4 months to seed or place sod after the last application of this product. A: Roundup Dual Action Weed & Grass Killer Plus 4 Month Preventer can be used in landscape beds and around trees and shrubs but should not come in direct contact with wanted plants either through direct spray, drift or over-spray. Only apply around the base of well-established (at least 6 months) desirable plants, shrubs or trees. DO NOT USE in areas that will be planted or seeded within 4 months. If it does come in contact with wanted plants it should be washed off immediately. The longer it is on the plant the more likely damage is to occur to that plant.

Do not spray this on any area you want any type of growth! Winter would be the best time spray this to keep weeds out. Nozzle could use a little work.

Not happy. Waste of my money!
Long time loyal customer. Can't be more unhappy about the performance of this new formula. Didn't realize it had changed. What a waste of my money. I bought and used this 13 days ago. I sprayed a large amount of the product on various areas. Weeds still growing strong. Nothing like the old product. False advertising. No good. Shame on you Bayer!

While the weeds should begin to wilt within hours of the application, complete control can take 1-2 weeks. Also, some weeds, like weeds with a waxy surface, are more difficult to control, as well as more mature weeds, and even in general, some weeds are more difficult to control. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little heavy at first till you use half of it. But it does work on the weeds. It killed a whole flower bed that was over ran with weeslds in 2 days. I sparyed it on it once and they were dead todays later. Sprayer helps a lot better then a spary bottle. I think it speeds more and you get a more powerful stream. When I run out I will be getting more. I have other projects around the house im going to use it on to see if it helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so grateful to receive this as we just moved into our new home and I thought my family would be looking forward to using this, but my family already decided on using a landscaping company to design our yard, so we haven’t used this product yet. So I cannot give it a formal review at this time! However, I can say I like the quantity and the dispenser, it looks like it’ll be easy to distribute to prevent weeds in the new yard when the project is complete.

Was the product applied to the soil and not just the plants/weeds that were growing in the area at time of application? The product must be applied to the soil in order to prevent weeds from growing. I also love that the instructions are shown in a picture form, so it makes it easy to understand how to use it. The only downfall is that it has to be pumped multiple times in order to use it, and even though I pumped it a lot, there is not really enough pressure for it to spray a lot. It does work, and does it job soni would still recommend it.
