Roundup for Lawns Southern Herbicide With Wand - 1 gal

The basic instructions should be UP FRONT and in larger print. Come on. Print is too small for most of us to read! Illustrations on how to turn the thing on must be clearer, can't see an on or off label on the little red cap, connected to the bottle. But it turns out that is NOT where the on and off is! STOP BURYING BASIC INSTRUCTIONS IN ALL THAT MESS. 2 days before and after NO MOW. Rain proof in 4 hours, but water in 8 hours. CLEAR AND UP FRONT. TAKE OUT BATTERIES!!

I brought this product because it was a little cheaper than what I normally buy (Ortho) and it failed measurably. I want my money back !

We had a MAJOR infestation of Silybum and Canadian thistles on our property, mostly concentrated around our septic tanks area. Took 2 seasons of treating with Roundup, and now all clear. Just have to chase those that are blown in from the surrounding area and sprout. I highly recommend this product, as it was proven very effective in this application. And always wear the proper PPE when applying!

Perhaps the lack of effectiveness is at least in part due to insufficient surfactant. The product beads on leaves and blades like water droplets on a freshly waxed and polished car. None of the other Roundup products suffer from this deficiency. I learned over 50 years ago to add dish soap for a wetting agent with Weed-B-gon if nothing else was available. Surely a chemical company could do better. The other Roundup products are very good, but someone dropped the ball on this one

I bought this product yesterday morning. I sprayed all the weeds in my yard. 22 hours later it looks like I didn’t even spray anything. I thought when I bought it, wow it claims to work fast. What a joke and it’s on me. Don’t waste your time and money on this product……

I bought this last month. Followed the directions. No rain for days. Did nothing. Clover and other weeds are still there. I saw no difference . Wasted money

I applied this product that claims to kill weeds not the grass. Followed all instructions. You be the judge with your own eyes.

I used the roundup size 170oz and it did not work on any weeds in my yard. I am so disappointed in this product, I will never waste my time using this again!!!

I bought the Roundup 'Kills the weeds not the lawn' that you connect the water hose to and it has turned my beautiful Zoysia lawn brown. I am so sorry I put this on my lawn I could cry. This harmed my zoysia faster than it has the weeds. If you have a nice lawn you may want to think twice before buying this! Never will I use this again. So sad

Safe on grass and kills weeds. Did exactly what it said it would do. Too easy.

I have always depended and been happy with all round up products but unfortunately I used the weed killer for lawns (premixed gallon) and it did not kill a single one which I’m shocked because I applied it heavily on each dandelion.It’s been 48 hours and there is absolutely no difference on any. Not sure if I just got a bad bottle or what happened

Product seems to work well on my Fescue. Price is high considering it's 90% water. Bottle should be more durable if they sell electric sprayer for refilling. Corner on my bottle cracked and I lost 50% until I noticed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this sprayer! Love that it’s battery powered as it saves my forearms. Every time I mow my lawn I get this out and just spot spray whatever I see. Big or small. Seems to work within 4-5 days. Would recommend

I used the product as directed several months ago. Now I have brown, dead spots over the entire yard that never recovered from the spray. My grass is fescue which is supposedly safe to use the product on. I take a lot of pride in my yard and used to get lots of compliments since it’s a corner lot.

I had nurtured my lawn all spring with feeding and over-seeding which produced a beautiful thick green lawn in June -July 2021. Small sprouts of clover started to pop up here and there so I purchased the Roundup for lawns ready to use. Read the application directions carefully and applied as directed to the clover locations. Within one week my lawn was ruined. The clover remained green and healthy while the grass was completely killed. The bottle label says kills weeds not the grass. In lite of the extreme negative effect on the lawn I felt that affected soils required removal and replacement prior to restoring the vegetation.. I contacted SMG Roundup and was repeatedly switched from one representative to another and each time asking the same questions and seeking the same information. My request of SMG Roundup was for nothing more than to have the impacted soil removed and replaced with virgin topsoil and my lawn restored. Ultimately after a significant amount of time had passed I was handed of to a claims adjuster from a third party contractor whom did not present himself in a very professional manor if you know what I mean. The adjuster advised I would be contacted with a resolution in short order. That was two weeks ago and no word and no returned phone calls from either SMG -Roundup or the contractor. I caution other consumers with regards to the use of Roundup for lawns ready to use. This is my second attempt to review this product. My first review was moderated as they put it in their response.

Does not kill crabgrass applied numerous times with same result, did not kill the crabgrass sw

I purchased this to control the weeds on my Florida Floratam lawn. What it actually did was to kill my lawn and feed the weeds. DO NOT USE THIS ROUNDUP product

I used the product earlier this summer and when I was ready for another use the spray gun would not work . The battery was still good but noting sprayed out.

Stop poisoning the land with this crap. It causes cancer too

Used as directed. Two applications over a 4 week period and the weeds are growing better than ever. Completely useless product
