Good price….nice saw!
I really didn’t need a new corded circular saw but my other one is an extremely heavy worm drive that is becoming hard to handle at my age (70s). This Black Friday sale had a decent price on this one. Although not a lightweight it is considerably lighter than my other saw and much easier when doing a quick cut or small project. It’s plenty powerful and the laser is an added bonus! Never had a saw with a laser.

Would recommend
Powerful, easy to use, consistent saw. The first circular saw I've purchased and I'm very pleased with it. I did replace the blade it came with pretty quickly with a Diablo blade, but I find the laser guide to be accurate. Weight is good—light enough to use it for awhile but heavy enough to feel sturdy and stable. Great value.

Missing front angle bolt
Skill saw 15amp laser works great except for the missing front angle screw. Hope Skill will send one or tell me where I can find one. Rating will go up if they do.

Missing dust collection
This circ saw performs well but doesn’t come with dust collection adapter. Having a hard time finding one. Skil doesn’t sell them as an accessory either.

Missing necessary parts
The factory failed to include two small screws that hold the arbor assembly to the body of the saw. I struggled to use this thing until I realized what the issue was and I’m lucky to not have been hurt. Not only crazy unsafe, but renders the tool useless. As the blade wobbles it’s impossible to cut a straight line and the blade gets pinched between the saw body and the blade guard

A solid purchase especially if bought on sale.
I am happy with the purchase. The saw is powerful for my needs and is well built in comparison with other offerings by different manufacturers at the price point. The laser is a nice feature but wish Skil would have included a rip guide. Some of us actually still use them.

Poor design
Saw works okay, but the safety button is almost impossible to hold in and cut with. Poor design.

First time use
My first time using it I cut a querter of an inch thick polycorbonated sheet with a spasific sarraded blade. The lazer helps alot to deturmine if my lines are straight even before I do the cut and the power feels right, strong like it could cut through thicker but not with an uncontrolable kickback. All in all I believe the design and details were well thought out for this machine.

Great Value
I had the same circular saw for over 30 years and when the handle finally cracked near the end of a project I had to get a new one quickly. I checked some reviews and settled on this hoping for the best. I was very surprised at what a good performer this saw ended up being. I've only made about 50 cross cuts through mahogany decking but so far it's been easy to handle and cuts very smoothly. Seems solidly built but beware of the blade height adjustment lever because I can tell that it could bend if you over-tighten it. Other than that, for the money I think this saw would be hard to beat unless you spent alot more. It even fits in my old saw's hard case.

Best saw for the money
Amazing saw for the money! Used it to cut some treated lumber for an outdoor project and it never slowed down. I actually forgot about the laser feature until I was halfway through. Wow! What a difference once I started using it.

Great saw. Has lots of power cutting through knots in lumber with ease. Cuts straight and very easy to adjust cutting angles. Laser guide very accurate.
