Westinghouse White Switch LED Light Fixture

After ordering and receiving two light fixtures, I knew that they may not match what I was wanting, so I attempted to learn the return policy of them. I search for at least 10 minutes to find the return policy. With no luck, I decided that since light fixtures were not electronics, Apples, or Beats products, and there was no specific return window listed on the order email, it was probably safe to assume they had a 90 day return window. Of course, my husband and I decided we didn’t want to keep the light fixtures, so I traveled in person to a physical store to begin the return. When I arrived, a local representative began the steps of returning and quickly advised that the items couldn’t be returned as they were ineligible for return. I asked why they were in eligible and he explained that they were likely outside of the return window. I explained my frustration in how difficult it was to try find the return policy, and he mentioned that “they like to hide it”. I didn’t want to keep the folks in line behind me waiting, so I figured I would try to solve the issue with online customer support. I reached out to Target chat support to learn the policy, and the chat box was still unable to provide me with the return policy of the light fixtures or offer me any kind of store credit. Finally, I spoke to a customer support representative over the phone. She could also not provide the specific return policy on the light fixtures, but she advised the best way to see a return window was to start a return online. How was I supposed to know to start a return to see the specific return window? After quite a bit of time spent on this return, I’m still unable to find where it describes that the light fixtures had a 30 day return window. I’m irritated and feel left in the dark with no support by your team. Do better, Target.
