Kichler Lighting Zailey 1 - Light Pendant in Black

Installation was easy. We replaced an old fixture so we just put this in its place. I love it so much I’m replacing the old ones I have in that room. From the moment it arrived, it was clear that a lot of thought went into the packaging — everything was secure and protected, with no damage whatsoever. The quality of the fixture itself is outstanding. The finish on the dome is smooth and even, with a beautiful matte texture that feels both modern and timeless. One detail I especially appreciate is the fabric-wrapped cord — it’s a small touch, but it adds so much to the overall high-end feel of the piece. It’s sturdy, flexible, and looks far nicer than the standard plastic cords you often find. I will admit, when I first opened the box, I was surprised because I had pictured it being a bit smaller based on the online images. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dome light is much larger than I realized but it is beautiful and it is definitely sturdy. The color is nice and it will definitely brighten my room. I feel that is sturdy, very high quality, and not cheaply made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pendant light is very elegant yet modern. We replaced three smaller pendants with two of the Zailey Dome Pendants and the fit was perfect. The installation was standard and easy to follow if you have some experience. The cord length left plenty of room for customization of the height. The Zailey Dome Pendant provides plenty of light with the majority of it focused down on the surface. This is great for prepping food on the island or homework. Overall, this is a great light!

It was easy to install with the directions and I was able to tuck some of the hanging cord into the ceiling fixture, in case I need to change the hanging height. I did cut some off before installing as well.

This light adds an understated, chic quality that we've gotten many compliments on. The black fits our decor and would look wonderful with any decorating style. This shines enough light to see well by, yet it doesn't cast a glare over our table. The light was well packaged and was easy to install using the included instructions. My husband had this installed in about 30 min. The high quality materials ensure that this light will retain its gorgeous exterior for a lifetime of use. My family really enjoys this light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the simplicity and ability to shorten the hanging rope makes it easily fit into different spaces. It's big and makes a statement. It's open on the botom and easy to change the bulb. I was worried that it will just beam into a narrow cone but with the right bulb it lights up the entire room well.

I will say the dome on it is very large so it does focus the light downward. I initially installed it in the center of my kitchen but decided to change it and move it firectly over my island for a more focused lighting.
