Kichler Lighting Mathus 1 - Light Wall Light in Textured Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The outdoor light fixture is an amazing upgrade from what we currently have. The finish is matte in black color and can make the look either contemporary or modern. It looks rich and sleek at the same time. I usually prefer rustic, farmhouse type of light but this completely changed the outdoor look. It has a heavy duty clear ribbed glass shade that is kind of trendy. Installation was little difficult due to basic instructions but my husband is very handy and was able to figure it out. The built of the fixture is sturdy and not flimsy at all. It’s important that the back plate is solid which it was so everything aligns well between the siding and wall. We will have to continue to monitor to see if there is any rust after months of use. Overall the light looks stunning in both day and night without distracting glare. It fit our style perfectly and functions as it should. It would be a good choice for anyone looking for an upgrade and is able to do installation themselves.
