Q: How do you take out the plastic straw part on the cover?

A: Thanks you for the question! The straw can be pulled out through the bottom of the lid. Please make sure the lid is in the open position before removing it. All parts of the Hydrate Pro bottle are dishwasher safe.

Q: Will these keep carbonated water stay fresh (keep the sparkle in sparkling water)?

A: Please note that we have not tested these bottles with carbonated beverages. The buildup of carbonation could spray on you if the bottle is shaken while closed. Also, you cannot seal carbonation with a straw. It will always bubble up and out of the vessel and may cause spillage.

A: Thanks for the interest, Kate. The current material is Tritan which is a copolyester. However, we also have some older straws in the market that are polypropylene. Both materials are food safe and BPA free.

Just picked this water bottle up in pink for our 3 year old. I don’t know how it will hold up but it has to be better than the never ending leaking zak plastic straw cup lol (moms you know what I’m talking about!) This bottle was clearance 50% off so I thought I give it a try. Usually by Thermos kids straw cup. Love the color and definitely needed a stainless steel option going into summer. Also, after showing our little one she’s able to unlock it and press the button on her own. Was concerned bc the button seems pretty firm even for me to press. Lastly, for all fellow Nuna Rava owners it made me jump for joy this bottle fit in the cup holder. Lots of kids bottles don’t fit in the Rava which is why I go for the Thermos or Zak straw cup but this totally fits with ease!

It is a good size for my kid to take to school everyday. The bottle holds water just fine, but the inside part of the straw is ripping and my child is drinking it

For the price of this water bottle, I was bummed when the silicone handle started to rip from the bottle. The silicone ring underneath the spout where the thread is, is basically impossible to get back into place. I usually take this part out to clean it, as it can get moldy, but have not been able to put it back (after many frustrating attempts). Between that and the busted handle, this $20 water bottle is now useless - after only about 3 months of use.

I bought these water bottles for my kindergartener and preschooler for back to school this year. The rubber base has definitely helped them withstand some drops and throws, and their water stays cold all day. These are easy to take apart for cleaning and 3 months in with daily use I am impressed by how well it’s held up so far. They also fit in the cup holders on my kids car seats which is a nice bonus and as long as my kids close them how they’re supposed to, they don’t leak in their backpacks. I will continue to buy these/this brand over other more expensive options because they appear to be just as durable and do just as good of a job keeping their drinks cold as their Yeti bottles do.

Too much noise. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but this is the 3rd waterbottle and they all make a weird turkey like sound when drinking water.

Best cups for toddlers and easy to carry and travel with. Totally recommend. Easy to introduce straw for 12-18month. I got one for my son and daughter and they love it.

Really liked this bottle at first, but the handles are breaking quickly on BOTH of the bottles I have. Its a bad design and soon these will be unusable. Avoid getting these ones.

The little black gasket is impossible to get back in, we had to cut it and reshape it to get it back in cause it kept leaking without it. The clear gasket ring is difficult to get back in. The water is hard for my little one to suck out so I also had to cut the straw. It just takes too long to assemble and take apart… it ended up being so mangled, I threw it away.

Best toddler water bottle! Love the soft straw that is the perfect fit for the cup, not too short so that all the drink can be consumed not too long so that you don’t have to make sure it’s jammed all the way to the top! It is perfect! Not too heavy yet a good amount of liquid to last. Love it!
