Go for the cheaper version of this! I cannot believe how bad the app is! I thought it would 'map' your leg/underarm/whatever and then tell you if you missed a spot or something. Nope! Its purpose seems to be to give you an alert when it's the day to do a weekly treatment. Just use your calendar! SO STUPID I cannot believe I spent more for this app that seems like it's from 2000. Can't say anything yet about the device. It's been three weeks and I've seen zero results. Nothing. But I've read that this is totally normal, so ...

I waited until I had used this a few times before leaving a review, and after about three treatments, I’m extremely happy with it! I had previously been going to a professional laser hair removal place, where each individual treatment cost about as much as this entire device. Because of that, I already didn’t have a ton of hair growth when I started using the Braun IPL, but I’ve still noticed a dramatic difference in the amount of hair growing back after only a few uses. It’s also much less painful than the professional treatments I was getting. I have lighter skin with dark hair, so I do have the ideal skin/hair combination for IPL, but it has worked incredibly well for me so far. The device itself is very easy to use, and I really like the app that goes with it. It walks you through the different treatment areas and tells you which attachment/head to use, which makes the whole process pretty foolproof. My only complaint is the suggested treatment/zoning setup for the legs. Following it exactly seemed to take forever, so I eventually stopped doing the legs for as long as the app suggested. That could also have been user error on my part when I initially set up the device and selected the areas I wanted to treat. Overall, this has absolutely been worth the money for me. Considering what I was paying per session for professional laser hair removal, being able to do treatments at home whenever I want is a huge plus. I’m already seeing great results after only a few uses and would definitely recommend it!

I’ve had the Braun IPL 5 for over five years. I can go months without seeing any hair. It finally died and I upgraded to this and love it even more. The adjustable head makes it easy to glide even on hard to zap places like your wrists. So quick and easy. For the last four years, I’ve only been using it every 3-4 months and still only because I barely see hair, mostly just peach fuzz. I’ve used it on my face, underarms, arms, and legs.

I love that is corded because the power this thing has is insane even when I was using it at a low intensity. The design has a curve body that fits perfectly in my hand and is not heavy at all, very lightweight. I love all the attachments it has because they function for small and large areas.

It’s easy to follow and painless. You only need to do this once a week. I haven’t been using it for too long maybe a few weeks but it’s become a part of my weekly routine. When I received the product about a month ago I realized it was defective. I’ve tried it on numerous complexions and changed my settings, but nothing gives. It is exactly what I needed for my legs and underarms, I tend to get ingrown hairs no matter how much I exfoliate or what hair removal method I try. I'm content with the results and with how easy it was to use it! I did a spot treatment first to verify that my skin wasn't going to burn or react to the treatment. Even though my skin is sensitive it did not irritate it at all. It's super portable and not loud at all, it just releases a little bit of heat with each zap and a small small sting but nothing painful.
