This is a horribly designed product. First, it's shiny plastic so when you add water, it becomes very slippery. Due to its slippery-when-wet nature it's almost impossible to turn on and off in the shower. When you try to turn it off it's very easy to accidentally unscrew the battery. Furthermore, the clear plastic shield is difficult to remove and put back on, and heaven forbid you drop it in the shower - it's impossible find because it's clear. Truly, one of the worst designed products on the market.

It does the job of trimming fairly well. However, I just happen to own a trimmer that is more powerful and is rechargeable. This includes batteries so it is ready to use straight from the box. It has one speed and a removable guard. This is an affordable option and can be used wet or dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun mini trimmer won’t give you as close a shave as a razor, but is pretty effective for touch ups and precise trimming. I have not used it wet, but it is very gentle when used dry and didn’t cause any irritation. It isn’t loud and only makes a slight buzzing sound. It was easy to clean the trimmer with the provided brush and running it through water. The compact design is an added benefit that will make it easy to travel with.

Pales in comparison to Schick Hydro Trimmer

I do like how small and compact the design is and might use it for travel, but for an everyday trimmer, I would not. It really took a lot of effort for a basic trim.
