Organic Valley® Grassmilk® is made with milk from cows that are 100% grass-fed and pasture-raised. This results in milk that captures the richness of the land with subtle, seasonal flavor notes—and naturally higher levels of omega-3s and CLA than milk from grain-fed herds. Beyond the glass, this organic milk is a wholesome addition to smoothies, baked goods, creamy soups, and homemade sauces. However you pour it, Organic Valley® Grassmilk® delivers uncompromising flavor and quality from grass to glass.

Q: Are the cows primarily grass fed?

submitted by Kingsdaughter3 - 5 months ago

  • A: Hello Kingsdaughter, Yes, our Grassmilk comes from cows that are fed only grass and forage, with no grains.

submitted byBrian Organic Valley - 4 months ago

  • A: According to the rules & regs if it states grass fed the animal is totally grass fed, not partially.

submitted byptppro - 4 months ago

  • A: Per their website: Grassmilk® products come from cows that are exclusively fed fresh grasses, dried and stored forages, and a small amount of supplements like molasses—without any grains.

    submitted byBusyMomof4 - 4 months ago

Q: I had heard, a couple of months ago, that your claims of being 100% grass fed and organic were disproven. Causing me to stop purchasing your product. Is this true and is it still the case?

submitted by Sunny - 3 months ago

Q: is this milk ultra pasteurized?

submitted by Idonthaveascreennane - 7 months ago

  • A: Yes it is ultra pasteurized

submitted byActuary - 6 months ago

  • A: Actuarys previous response is indeed correct - All of our grassmilks are ultra pasteurized.

submitted byBrian Organic Valley - 4 months ago

Q: Why does your milk not have the American Grassfed Association standard label on the front?

submitted by SaveTheKids - 3 months ago

  • A: We use Organic Plus Trust for our certification rather than the American Grassfed Association. The badge is on the top of our packaing right by the USDA seal. In short its just a different certifier.

Great milk taste

Try this milk next to your generic Publix brand milk. The difference in taste in very noticeable and you won’t go back.

My favorite Milk

I love your milk and I have been buying it for a couple years now. I recently noticed the decrease in size for the same purchase price. Please do not shrink the amount of milk in the containers. It already feels like we are paying a premium for your milk.

I have to switch brands

After purchasing this milk for years from the Publix at holiday I just opened both of the Good by September 11th sealed perfectly and they're chunky and sour I'm very disappointed I don't have my receipt from a week ago but it's unfortunate it was the only milk I would drink but I can't buy this anymore

So happy Target now carries this!

I was really excited to see Target now carries Organic Valley! Tastes better than Horizon organic, and I love that they are a cooperative owned by independent family farmers, rather than a giant corporation with factory farms. I am happy to support our farmers and better treatment of the cows!

Bad milk

The last two cartons of whole grass-fed organic milk I bought had curds in it, they were not passed expiration date, now I have to go but a different brand because I can’t trust buying it once more and waste more money

Check expiration on products when picking up!

The expiration is only a week away from today!!! It seems like with drive up they tend to give me things that are going to expire the next day or within a week! So wrong!!!

best tasting and lasts

When we move to SC we could no longer get our favorite Braum's A2 dairy milk. We had to taste test several and read many reviews of the health of milk available. We found the process of this Organic Valley and the taste of it superior to the other brands. It is pricy, but we have never had a carton go bad on us. Other brands we had tried went sour before the Best Before Date. Highly recommend.

Great Flavor!

so I used to be the type of person who would poo poo the idea organic milk and any sort of like special type of milk. but recently I decided to just give it a try and I am so incredibly pleased and impressed by how clean and creamy Organic Valley Grassmilk is. it is far and away the best milk I've ever had in my life and I will never go back to any other kind of milk. I also appreciate deeply how transparent organic valley is and how good they treat their cows and the land the cows call home. that means so much to me as someone who deeply cares about the Earth and the animals and plant life on it. Great job organic valley.
