It has a rich, smoky flavor that actually tastes like real bacon—not overly processed or artificial. The texture is firm but not dry, and it has just the right amount of saltiness to be satisfying without feeling heavy. I love that it's made with clean ingredients—no nitrates, antibiotics, or weird fillers. I've had slim jims and other products like it, but these ones are softer and has better flavor with the texture being less fibrous and a little more gelatinous. It can really satisfy that meat craving. I've docked a star because like others, I had one empty sealed pouch in the box. I figured it probably just hitched a ride and there would be 24 sticks in the box, but there were only 23. So, 24 sealed pouches, but only 23 meat sticks. Would I order these again? Yes. They're easy to open and I really like these. They're perfect for long drives, hikes, or a quick snack at work. The product itself is great. Just please take care with the quality control.

The texture wasn't bad but I just really didn't enjoy the flavor. They tasted very plain to me, I had my husband try them and he liked them better than I did but I prefer other brands to this. I will say it tasted very fresh and the packaging was great, it wasn't a struggle to open but for me personally the taste wasn't there. I received this complimentary product for my honest review.

This Vermont stick was one of the better ones I’ve ever tried. Thick and filling. This flavor is one of my favorites- I love the maple. Just the right amount of salty and sweet. The Vermont meat sticks taste like they are gourmet but are actually affordable. Highly recommend!

I was loving the fact it didnt have many weird ingredients and was real meat i got 1 stick to try and although it was small it tasted way better and healthier than other jerky and meat sticks i have tried in the past. The packaging was easy to open and although it cost more than i normally pay for beef sticks knowing it was better ingredients made me look over the pricing factor. My dog was staring me down so i even gave her a lil piece and she loved it, and since i ended up going to buy a package of them she eats one also and lives them more than her treats and since its real meat i don’t feel bad or that its unhealthy to give her a piece every now and again. We have now replaced our slim jims and other jerky pieces with this. Another major factor also being the protein amount which is great to get our protein amounts in daily! Would definitely recommend to at least try!
