Q: How are they recommended to wash? Hand wash or machine wash?

A: While these are safe for the washing machine, I prefer to hand wash them with a small amount of detergent and lay flat to dry. Hope this helps!

Q: Are there "stay in place" strips on one side of the head band to help hold it in place while wearing it?

A: Big hair, there is not any sort of adhesive to keep these in position, though they have less room to move as they are a much wider band. I'm sure they would look great with a full head of hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the typical cloth headbands. They are wider and therefore give more coverage and can even be folded over if you prefer a slimmer style. All in all it works for what you need it to do. Keep your face clear of hair whether you're doing housework, working out or putting on makeup. I find it hard to find a cloth headband or wrap that will stay on my head and this has not made it any easier. I have to pin it in place like with all the rest.

I love that they’re reversible too, the one I got being able to switch easily between black and gray (though some of the other color does tend to peek out). I’d definitely recommend it for sports and home use, but I’d choose a different product if you needed to look a little fancier.

They are soft and I can't even feel it on my head. It doesn't move and keeps my hair out of my face and the sweat from dripping down in my eyes while I'm working in a 100+ degree warehouse. Unlike previous cloth headbands, my hair did not become frizzy underneath it and create unruly baby hairs. The black and grey set was simple enough to go with plenty of outfits. They did their job of keeping my hair out of my face. I'm not sure if it's the shape of my head, but they did still tend to slip off and needed readjustment every once in a while -- only reason for minus one star.

The head wrap provides the support I need. Literally one of my favorite ways to use this is when I’m doing my makeup. The color is so perfect as well. Very simple but an essential. This product works well, as you would expect it to and even a little better because the holes in place stays in place all day long but not to wear it’s too snug or too tight! Even going to the gym working out and sweating it still stays in place and works wonders!! Even better that it’s for all hair types and lengths. I will say one thing is that for me personally, it was a bit too wide, but I just simply folded it in half and it was perfect just like that and again that’s just me personally. thank you all!

I have to use Bobby pins and even then the fabric wanders. It doesn’t do damage, so that part of the advertising is true. But for me, it was not even close to an all day hold.

I use mine when I'm putting my makeup on or washing my face. They are able to be worn anytime. Exercising would be a good time to wear them also. Keeps the hair out of your face wonderfully. They are machine washable.
