The glass is thick and aged looking and the finish is absolutely gorgeous. It perfectly illuminates my yard. This light is huge and heavy. It's as heavy as it looks and the quality is amazing. We've received so many compliments on this light. This light beautifully compliments my home. It was packaged very well. I love Kichler lights and know whenever I buy one I'm receiving a high quality light fixture and this one has surpassed my expectations! This light went above and beyond the expectations that I had for it! It's absolutely gorgeous! It looks like something you would see on the beautiful streets of London.
