I have to say, I buy this for the scent of rosemary and mint. It also has an excellent lather ability, but I wish it wasn't so drying for my hair. I use it for first wash, then use something less harsh as my second wash. Also, I wish it came in a cream instead of gel, because it plops out instead of flows out of bottle, hard to gage how much is coming out.

I bought the companion shampoo and follow up with this conditioner. Together, they leave my hair looking very healthy, with a little shine, and smelling fresh all day. I haven't noticed any buildup, and it doesn't seem to weigh down my hair. It seems to stand up to a light blow dry. The ingredients are very safe and sane. The price is pretty reasonable for the size of the bottle. The smell is slightly medicinal, but the residual scent on my hair is lightly herbal. Two people randomly told me my hair is pretty in the past week. I'm sold! (Over 40, long natural hair, noticeable tinsel) "

I got this stuff just yesterday, along with the conditioner, and have used it just once. My hair is curly, and I often do my own trims, and that usually equals frizz. My hair is soft, what few tangles I had when I got up this morning brushed right through without pulling, the curls look excellent, and it has a LOT of shine! And the scent is wonderful. I couldn't really smell it when I first got it, but it made itself known once I started washing my hair with it. Not overpowering at all, just very nice.

Been using this over a year now. Needed a good product to use after water exercise 3x a week. Tried different products, this along w/ the BWC shampoo does the job. I have thick, long hair & can always comb easily w/o being greasy or heavy. Good value . Thanks Swanson's!!

This product greatly exceeded my expectations! I typically use name brand products from a salon. This works just as well, if not better. Love the fragrance, body and shine of my hair after using. Will definitely purchase this again - what a find!!

I have very dry, curly hair and find it hard to find good healthy conditioners that work on my hair. This product helped with the tangles but I didn't feel that it moisturized as much as I would have liked. I will try something different next time for my type of hair.

Works good and better than shampoos purchasaed off store shelves

I marked 3 for convenience because I truly wish BWC was available in every corner store. This conditioner might not work for you if you have thin, limp or oily hair, but for my thick and sometimes dry hair, it is the best conditioner I've ever used, purported to be healthy or not. I made the mistake of buying a gigantic jug of regular shampoo from costco (containing sodium laurel sulfates) which made my hair turn brittle and frizzy. BWC saved me. This conditioner is awesome, and BWC's shampoos (no sls) are awesome too.

I've been using this along with the Deep Steep Rosemary Bubble bath now for years. The smells match well and are beautiful together. I get compliments from other ladies in the public shower at the local pool "it smells like a wonderful spa in here", etc. Both the Shampoo and Conditioner work well; I have fine curly hair so it is hard to find a conditioner that doesn't weight my hair down. It is very thick as well; so you don't have to use as much. Great price.

As much as I loved the shampoo, the conditioner just doesn't cut it. It doesn't leave my hair smooth, my hair comes out full of knots and tough to brush out. It almost feels too thick perhaps? Just doesn't make my hair smooth, therefore very disappointing.

Has a low rating on the EWG's Skin Deep website and leaves my hair very moisturized and shiny!
