Highly inconsistent.
The scale shows different weight for the same bags when checked multiple times. The fluctuations are not even close. I noticed 5-7 lb difference when I tried to weigh the bag 3 different times measured one after the other. More over none of those numbers are even close to what I got at the airport. Do not buy

Works as intended, just read the instructions to see how to use kg or lbs, and which of the 3 modes you want. I used peak because it reads out fast, locked mode required holding up the luggage longer. Recommended.

I was worried when I originally got this product because what people were saying about it is true. It was weird at first but after, I did what everyone should do and I read the directions. I used peak mode to read the weight as that's the one I think is easiest to use. You can also change between lbs and kg so whatever you prefer is available. Now obviously the reading is not going to be the exact same every time because you are holding it up yourself but they are pretty close and will give you an idea of where the weight is.

It weighed my 30 pound bag fine. However it would not give me a reading on the bags which were over 40 pounds. The whole point of buying the scale was to make sure we did not go over the 50 pound weight limit. Accordingly, it was useless.

Terrible scale! I rushed to Target to buy it after another 3 luggage scales I had failed to work, and got the worst scale ever and the only one available. If you get it to weigh something, it will never show twice the same weight, if you don't get that lucky, it will just flash and blink on 888888 or 00000. I have the receipt and will return it today.

Terrible! Don't buy
It was TERRIBLE. Not even a hook. A little bent metal edge. And it won’t measure if you don’t move at all, which is near impossible with a 40lb bag. And it keeps dropping the back b/c the edge hook thing, doesn’t hold anything. Don’t waste your money!
