Q: How do you unlock the locks after opening the package since the locks are already locked

A: You take the keys off the key ring and unlock the lock, then you can take the key ring off once unlocked

Peace of mind
Bought these for my checked bag on my Hawaii trip, and just used them for another vacation. It's nice having the peace of mind that no one except the TSA agents will have access to my bag & valuables. I like that it's a universal TSA-approved lock so that way, if TSA needs to search my luggage, the lock won't need to be cut off either. Recommend these for anyone who checks their luggage at the airport.

Good, simple lock for luggage
We bought this lock after the one we bought online wouldn't work. The luggage locks that use a cord unlike this one do not work when resetting the combination. So, we found this key lock. Despite some reviews here saying the key doesn't work, both keys work in the package I bought. The key for lock 1 does not with for lock 2 and vice versa, so you have to be careful with that when locking. Otherwise, great locks here!

Don’t buy them. Tried both locks with all 4 keys and it won’t open either lock. If you’re in the store, I’d open the package and make sure they work before purchasing.
