Why isnt this discontinued
After 30,000 tries, bruised thumbs and using a hammer, the lock turned to reset. There was a comment here that said to press it harder Ina way at the first 90° angle. Wasn’t able to use it for the first 3 weeks after purchasing. Pls don’t buy this specific one😭 just go to like a discount store and get the og turning one.

Found a little trick on Youtube to reset the password: push it down harder at the first 90 degree, then it may be easier to continue to the 180 degree position… Hope there is no other problem in the future.

Stuck Open and Useless
Bought this Master padlock for security, but it was a complete letdown. It’s literally stuck open and won’t close or lock at all. I expected reliability, but instead got a faulty product that can’t even perform the most basic function. Extremely disappointed.

Faulty
Okay I rarely write reviews for anything. But this thing SUCKS. It somehow changed combinations by itself in my gym bag and I had to get the staff to cut it off so I could get my stuff out of my locker 🤦♀️ Do not buy this crap.

Nice small basic lock. Now if Master actually had a manual OR told you how to change the combination on their website, I'd rate it more highly. For those who keep asking: Unlock it, turn the u-piece 1/4 around and push down into the slot. Keep it down and turn another 1/4 around. Set the combo to what you want.

Will not cycle through to change the combination! Just seen when I was searching for "help" apparently I am not the only one with this issue! I'd give it less than 1 star if this site would have allowed.

Not for suitcases
The lock itself is great and easy to use. However, it will not work for suitcases since it’s too thick on the lock bar
