Q: Same exact issue as multiple others. This lock is clearly a malfunctioning model. Master Lock won't admit it I'm sure. But this model is a mess.

Reviews are TRUE! The lock just locked itself and couldnt open it with my code! Lucklily, I was in the gym so they break the lock to get me my bellongings. TERRIBLE. Now I have to spend money again for a new one. They should give a refund to everyone who ever purchased this garbage. I dont undrerstand that this lock is still being sold. We need to report this scam.

Either got jammed or reset itself after having just been used 20 mins prior. Imagine my surprise and dismay coming out of the shower at the gym, unable to get to all of my belongings. Thank god the gym had lock cutters on hand. DO NOT BUY.

Do not buy! What a headache!!
After I reset the combination it “worked” the first few tries then once I actually utilized it to lock a gate it stopped working. I read the reviews after this issue and can see I am not the only person with this issue!

Why is this defective lock still on shelves?
I wish I would’ve read the reviews before purchasing this lock. It won’t open with the combination I set. I’ve only used it twice. This lock shouldn’t be sold in stores or online.

Use with caution
I bought this to secure my locker at the gym. It initially worked well, and it was easy to set the code. After about 10 uses, it jammed up and I had to get someone at the gym to cut it off with bolt cutters. Would not buy again.

DO NOT PURCHASE! Defective!!
Target needs to pull this item off the shelves asap! All reviews on here say the same thing and it’s 100% accurate. I set the combination, it worked the first couple times and now that combination does not work at all. People are saying it resets itself, but I can’t get it to open with the original code either. This is on my back gate so now I can’t get my trash in and out until I bolt cut it off, which is another product I have to go buy. I’ve never needed bolt cutters until I bought this faulty product. Honestly, pull this off the shelf Target, you should not be selling a product that is getting this many complaints about flat out not working!

Too easily changes the combination on its own
Used only once; the second time I went to use it, I discovered that the lock had reset itself while in my gym bag. It has a design flaw that has been described by MULTIPLE other users. It is now useless.
