Tree Hut Lotus Water Whipped Shea Body Butter - 8.4oz

It's been a while since I've bought body butter from Tree Hut. This one smells really awesome and feels good on me.

The smell and texture are really nice! Love Tree Hut because I have such sensitive skin and their products have never given me a bad reaction. This scent is lighter, so I use it at night.

My daughter got it for her birthday and it smells awful. It fills the entire house with a terrible smell that gave me a headache. We had to throw it out. Not only is it smell nauseating, but it leaves a trail of smell throughout the house. We had to open all the windows just to air it out.

I think this scent must be a cilantro situation - you either love it or you’re allergic to it. I can’t even describe what it smells like - it’s not floral to me, and I can’t think of anything similar to compare it to. Maybe I just haven’t smelled lotus before? Sometimes I think I kind of like it, and then other times I’m like … blegh. I put it on just now to try describing it and my hands smell somewhat like tomatoes. It’s just strange. I bought the handwash thinking maybe the body butter was too strong or off somehow, but nope. It’s just not for me, I guess. Smell before buying is my advice. Cherry Rave is still my fave. ;)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this lotion texture. And it feels nice when putting it on my skin. It feels soft and smooth. The smell is not for me. It's fruity kinda strong and sweet. But it helps my skin hydrated after using it. The scent lasts long.

Smelled nice but scent only lasted a little while. I was really disappointed. Other Treehut products last much longer in my skin.

I used the lotion all over and liked how the body butter was very hydrating without making me feel sticky like some other creams do. I liked the scent (think tropical vibes), but I felt like the it was pretty strong. Just a preference thing!

What on EARTH is THIS SMELL? I normally love tree hut products, but this was funky. That’s the only word that describes it. So funky. I thought maybe it was a bad batch until I smelled the body wash and it smelled the same. It smells like stank unwashed buttcrack, I wish I was exaggerating.

The butter is light but easily rubbed into my skin and didn't require using a lot of the product at all time. I also enjoyed the way this smells. It's very fresh and clean scented and has lasted on my skin for a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does actually the job of moisturizing your skin which is some extent nice but the intense fragrance—which is not my type it all, a little bit gum-like—really is overwhelming. Maybe I'm not that into intense fragrances bc they'd interact with my perfume but if you are maybe give it a try? Highly recommend smelling it first

I was worried that the scent would be too strong but it also is rather pleasant and subtle. The moisture it add has been a huge improvement on my dry cracked feet.

However, the smell of the Lotus Water scent is amazing without being overpowering. The texture is also great and feels amazing on the skin, even with my super sensitive skin. I'd highly recommend, especially if you have sensitive skin and typically can't do fragrance infused lotions.

At first touch I also thought it felt too thin and watery. I used the body butter after I got out of the shower and realized that after you put it on the smell is actually perfect. It doesn't overwhelm and is light and wonderful. It is also very moisturizing while leaving my skin very soft. I look forward to using this everyday. I have received many compliments asking what I'm wearing from my husband and from strangers! I very much recommend this product.
