I had an old hanging basket that needed a liner. Instead I decided to use this moss on the outer part of the basket and filled it in with an old potted plant I had. It has been thriving since! The moss can hold a lot of the extra water I pour in, and I can't over pour because any extra just flows through the basket. This plant is kept outside, so it isn't a big deal for it to drip. I love the idea of using moss instead of some plastic liner.
