This was considerably below the knee on my 17 year old daughter, and she is 5'4"". She hemmed it and cut off about 6"".

This was way too long on my middle school daughter. Fit more below the knee, even when pulled up very high on her waist. Inaccurate descriptions + high cost of returns = dishonest business practices.

I love this skirt. Unfortunately it's too big for my daughter. Though another skirt made out of different material but same size and same style, fits really well. I'm sad this one is too big.

We needed a skirt that was cute and below the knee. We wanted it to look formal but still stylish, this was it. The pleated skirt stays around the knee area and it looks fabulous with the uniform top. I got two, one for my 7 year old and one for my 13 year old. Both girls liked them and they did not put up a fight. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered this skirt for my daughter & it's at least a whole size too Big. So definitively size down unless your child prefers loose & baggy.

The skirt is below the knees. My daughter feels comfortable wearing it.

These skirts are perfect for those girls who go to schools that require a uniform. My daughter is 5'7"" tall at they hit right at her knee. She loves them.

I'm not sure what is going on with the sizes this school year, but EVERYTHING is a size (or 2) to small.... shirts included. FYI- the size 12 is the exact size as the 10.

Quality skirt of durable fabric. It drapes very nicely even when the waist is minimized using the adjustable elastic band and buttons. This is used regularly for orchestra performances and has maintained its color and form through several washings. Please note, the sizes seem to run exceedingly large in the plus sizes. Regular sizes are true to size.

It wrinkles to easy but I like the quality of how it's made, only other complaint is took so long to get

Great product and great for my girl. She has developed hips quickly and the skirt is perfect for her.

I am pretty skinny but taller than average. I normally wear sizes 16 or 18 in kids, and size 12 or 14 in these skirts are perfect for me. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the colors I wanted them in weren't in stock for over a YEAR.

My grand-daughter is very hard on clothes but this skirt holds up wash after wash.

Poorly made clothes, sizing is way off and fits awkward. G is tall and thin and everything looks great on her But the fit of these clothes is awful.

I have worn it for job interview and just because.

A bit bigger than I expected but otherwise good and washes well

The product seems well made and worth it if you're looking for your elementary-aged daughter to wear a mini skirt or you want to bunch up the very short elastic area in the back to make it look like your daughter has a 3rd appendage growing out of her tailbone. The waist is huge. You have to go down like 3-4 sizes just to get the waist small enough to be worth it, but then you're sacrificing great length. The 2 adjustable elastic bands connect in the back middle and only extend to the sides, so it bunches up in the back.

I appreciate that they put a long length into the skirt. Combined with the adjustable waist,the skirt will last a long time.
