It’s an ok chair, but believe the reviews. The footrest is impossible to put down while you’re trying to get up and holding a baby. It also comes dirty out of the package but it’s too much of a pain to try to return!

I was nervous reading reviews about the noise and difficulty with the footrest, but the chair I recieved makes no noise at all! The footrest needs a little oomph at the very end, but I wouldnt describe it as difficult or loud. 4/5 stars due to the seat position being a little deep, but nothing a pillow cant fix! The chair also slides on my vinyl floor if i sit down too hard, but will be getting a rug or mat for underneath.

okay for price, not great freshly postpartum
it’s okay. we got it on a good sale otherwise i’d be more upset about it. i’ve been using it for 7 months now, since my baby was born. TERRIBLE freshly postpartum, it requires so much strength and force to close the footrest i almost cried the first time i tried it. my husband had to come over and kick it closed for weeks until i was healed enough to do it myself. my complaint now is that recline function feels off, doesnt stay reclined unless im putting a bit of pressure on it at all times. it’s okay for the price if you’re on a budget, and it does look very nice. ultimately we’ll be upgrading to a different one whenever we have another baby on the way, because no way am i dealing with that again lol.

Needs a hand lever to retract/ not worth $300
It’s an okay chair. Not great for the price. Came in two pieces and was easy to put together. There is kind of a gap when the chair is reclined that can be uncomfortable. The biggest problem is with the foot rest. There is no lever to assist in putting it down so you have to try to force it down with your feet and it’s difficult to lock into place. I got this for my baby nursery so doing that with a baby in my hands is pretty frustrating. This was marketed as a nursery recliner so you would think that Delta would’ve put a little bit of thought into that.

When you close this chair it requires too much force so it’s not suitable for holding a baby. When I reached out to Delta customer support they responded with saying that’s how it’s supposed to be. I unfortunately can’t use the recliner function at all on this while nursing or holding baby. Useless purchase. Go with another brand.

Defective item + terrible user experience
The chair we received is defective, but the terrible instructions make it impossible to tell exactly how. They imply that this is an extremely simple set-up, as easy as sliding the backboard onto the base. In our case, the backboard wouldn't fully secure to the base and one of the tabs on the backboard appears to be snapped off. It's worth noting that we have no clue what this tab is supposed to do, because the instructions make no mention of it, but it seems to play some important role. Annoying, but it happens. However, the user experience when trying to get ahold of Delta has been horrible. Their QR code attached leads to instructions for an entirely different product and, in order to contact them, you need to go through a terrible chatbot that requests you take a bunch of pictures without giving you the ability to attach said pictures to the chat. It ends with a vague promise that someone will reach out at some point, provided you entered everything correctly — which one cannot do. The stress of setting up a nursery is already strong, and this "simple assembly" just about sent us over the edge. Steer clear.

Cute, Compact chair...major issue with footrest
Chair was easy to assemble and does not take up alot of space. It is very comfortable and the swivel/rocking functions work well. However the reclining function only works simultaneously with the footrest. It is extremely difficult if not impossible to close the footrest while sitting in the chair. You have to forcefully push it closed with your hands. Would recommend if it was solely a recliner without a footrest built into it. Affordable option to use as just a rocker.

Dont choose for your nursery!
This chair is not the chair for your nursery, unless you don’t plan to use it until 6+ months postpartum, and even then it’s annoying. The chair is really deep, making it incredibly challenging to get in and out of while holding a little one. And forget it if you’re recovering from a c-section. Additionally, it’s impossible to put the foot rest down while in the chair. As a 5’3’’ mom, I’m getting in and out of the chair with the footrest up, setting my baby down and then pushing the footrest closed. My last big grievance with this chair is you are not able to lean back. It allows you to while reclined, but you have to push your whole body weight into it to stay in that position. Just not comfortable or practical at all for your nursery. The pros: - price - hides dirt / dog hair very well - looks cute
