A: The Delta website (https://www.deltachildren.com/collections/gliders/products/emma-tufted-glider-1?variant=15943002691) lists these available colors: Blush (636), Flax (710), Charcoal (931), French Grey (1304). Also their "Buy from Retailers" link lists Target as the sole vendor. The Target website "Glider Chairs & Ottoman" summary listing shows the same four colors and the item image is the Blush chair; however, the product listing only allows selection of Flax. @Target and @DeltaChildrenSupport, please clarify this situation and how do we buy the other available colors?

A: No, this chair is not easy to keep clean. I’ve had a baby for 6 days and already have spilled breast milk on the chair and gotten nipple balm on the arm. Everything shows in the fabric. It’s a great chair, but I’m sad I’ve already ruined it.

A: I sat on it in the store - very comfortable. I am 5'6" and the seat back comes up just high enough for me to lean my head back. I'm dreaming of buying this chair :)

Overall, it's comfortable and I'm very happy with my purchase. I do recommend an ottoman though. Separately from Target, I purchased an ottoman that coordinates well with this chair.

So it's not super soft, but way easier to clean and doesn't show stains. The chair is also firm, but comfy, which I like for nursing. I'm not like sinking into it. I'm 5'2" and the chair is a good size for me as long as I use a little ottoman/pouf to rock.

This chair has a finite lifespan. I registered for and received this chair for my daughter’s nursery a little over two years ago. I sat in it with her every night overnight through the early days and it’s been our chair for bedtime reading since. Now we have another child and this chair has moved over to his nursery. I did not notice its degradation over the past couple of years because I never had to sit in it long… until now. My postpartum recovery is rougher because of how worn and unsupportive this chair has become in two short years with basic use. My husband who is not recovering from having a baby has found the same. I would not buy this chair again and would spend more money on something more durable because it hasn’t held up as I’d hope.

Target Nursery Chair - 1 month ago, Verified purchaser
Excited for a nursery chair that I could rock in without a foot stool. The chair came damaged as there was no threading to screw in the back to the base. There was concerns regarding safety since the chair would be used for rocking a baby. Target sent a new chair. The second chair was a different material and a different aesthetic look than the first. It was also damaged and stayed in a kicked back reclined position. Target offered to send a third but I do not have space for a third chair and box in my home. There was also the concern that a third chair would be damaged like the others. Target then said I could arrange UPS to come and get the chairs and that has been a disaster by showing up unexpectedly and then not coming the next day for pick up after canceling plans. I’m sure there is a quality version of this chair, unfortunately that was not our experience.

I’m shocked this has some bad reviews because it’s my absolute favorite baby purchase!! It’s sooo comfy and soft. It’s the perfect height. It is so easy to clean. I’ve gotten breast milk and spit up all over it and it wipes clean with water, no stains. I even got the matching gliding ottoman online (target doesn’t sell it for some reason). Highly recommend this glider! My baby and I have spent many hours snuggling in it and it’s my favorite part of the nursery.

Super low to the ground so hard to get out of post c section while holding baby. Also if you drop any kind of liquid on it it stains. The seat cushion is removable and you can wash the cover. Also SUPERRR hard to align back rest into groves to put together.

This chair is beautiful, however it’s like they completely forgot it’s a NURSERY glider. There is absolutely no kind of stain resistance. Any type of liquid (water, spit, spit up, breast milk, literally anything wet) will stain this chair beyond repair. I have literally no idea what to do to clean it but after having it less than a year, this chair is absolutely trashed which sucks because of the insane price on it. Delta needs to do better with their products especially as they are supposed to be designed to use for babies. Super disappointed in the crap quality of this chair.

I have spent probably hundreds of hours rocking both of my babies in this chair, and I love it. I do prefer to have a pillow under whichever arm is holding the baby because the arms of the chair feel a little hard after sitting awhile, but I still give it five stars. I’m 5’5 and the back of the chair is high enough for me to lean my head on. I like the matching ottoman too!

Item is generally as expected but there are pieces of fabric that didn’t get stitched, areas that the staples missed their intended seam and a few areas of discoloration on the fabric. For a target chair I guess it’s fine but if it was from Pottery Barn I’d 100% return it.

We are in love with this chair and so happy this is the one we decided to go with. If I had a complaint its that the color on the chair is lighter than pictured (we ordered the charcoal) but the color ended up going very well with other furniture in the room so that turned out great. The chair is super comfy and quiet. Its also padded and firm enough to feel like it will last a long time.
