Thank you for your review regarding the Adley Nursery Glider Swivel chair - we have noted two resolutions to the squeaky chair issue: BASE & BACK: It is important to have the Base and the Back lined up correctly when assembling the Chair. To ensure that the base and back are lined up properly. Look from the floor, up the back at the brackets when you start to install. If this is straight, then continue to push the back all the way down the base. BOLTS: Bolts can become loose at times. Please tighten all bolts accordingly. You will find that there are a minimum of 12 bolts which are as follows. 4 Bolts on the Back, 4 Bolts on the Base, 4 or more Bolts on the Metal Mechanism. Our son is 18 months and we’ve gone this long without a chair but since he’s starting to have separation anxiety falling asleep we decided to get one for his room to keep him company til he falls asleep. So I was looking for something inexpensive but reasonable since it’s likely temporary. If I had found it sooner I would have gotten it way back. It turned out to be the perfect chair for us. Size is great. Not too big but back is tall enough to rest your back and head comfortably. My husband rarely comments on anything but for the first time said “I love it, we’re keeping it”. Most important thing is it rocks in perfect silence which is exactly what we need to sneak out of the room once little one falls asleep. No squeaks or creaks. My husband set it up in a few minutes while I bathed the baby. Thank god I saw it on the floor and had the option of sitting in it before purchase.

It’s ok. Pros: easy to assemble, cheaper than most chairs, nice looking, smooth glide and turn. Cons: uncomfortable, the arms are too narrow and too low, it smells like it was coated in a chemical. I’m so disappointed in the quality and comfort. I got this to breast feed my new baby in and I know that feedings are going to be an issue. I’m going to always have to use a pillow due to the low / narrow arms to prop baby up high enough. I’m also always going to have to use a pillow under my elbows to prop me up high enough. My bottom actually hurts from sitting here writing this review.

The LOUDEST SQUEAKIEST rocker ever. So disappointed, my husband and I bought it when I was pregnant. But we finally were able to take it out of the box after buying a home and getting our daughter a nursery and we can’t even use it… it is comfortable but so loud and impractical.

Using for 7 months to rock my baby 5+ times a day. Swivel is great, rocking is not so great - VERY squeaky. We tried wd-40 but it's the particle board wood inside the chair causing the issue. Back cushion deflated significantly about 3 months - I had to start using a lumbar support cushion. Good chair for temporary use due to the low price but not good if your baby is sensitive to sound.

We got this for my daughters nursery. While it looks nice, it's terrible quality. Within months it was making an awful clanking noise when rocking. When you sit in it a certain way, it makes a giant "clunk" and wakes up the baby. Would not buy again!

We live in a small one-bedroom apartment and were looking for a comfortable nursing chair that wouldn't take up too much space. We fell in love with this chair after sitting in it at a Target store. It is so comfy! Assembly was a breeze. My husband set it up in less than 5 minutes. It rocks and glides, is completely quiet, and perfect to nurse a little one. Can't wait for our baby's arrival. I'm sure we'll be spending so much time in this chair!

This chair was gifted to me for my baby shower, the look of it is nice however it arrived with several stains. At first I thought they were blood stains which really freaked me out (biohazard nursery chair!) but then I realized the “blood” color actually matches the wood glue that’s used inside the chair… so at least it’s not blood, but still. The stains are on the back of the chair, thankfully. There’s a big dirty handprint on the side of the chair too. My hands were perfectly clean before assembling so it’s definitely not mine… Seems like manufacturers are very sloppy between the wood glue splatter and the big old dirty handprint. I contacted target customer service and they wanted me to disassemble, put everything back in the box, and bring it in for a return… I’m far too pregnant for that so I guess I’m just living with a dirty chair.
