Nice sweater, measurements are off

Nice sweater for date night with my hubby. The sizing chart says the 2x has a 56 inch bust, which is def off. It's more like a 48. The 2x fits like a true (form-fitting) 2x. It's fairly low cut and shows a lot of neck and shoulder too. The cut on the hem is very flattering.
