[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My pup is almost 10 and started having stomach issues. Instead of trying this medication and that medication, I looked into this food and it has worked wonders! His stomach issues resolved, his allergies have been so much better and he has some pep in his steps on our walks!

So easy to use. I mix it in with their kibble & also make frozen treats with it - layering with the goat milk or just plain. They are getting good nutritious food & they think they are getting a treat! It was great when one of my pups had teeth pulled - I knew she was still getting good tasty nutritious food.

It is reassuring that this mix is renal-friendly enough for Bryn. she really loves it and I know it is giving her the nutrition she needs. It is also tasty enough to mask the flavor of the supplements I put in for her! LOVE IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My furry Kids just love this food! I can't make it fast enough for them. Their coats are a nice soft puppy like fur. When my one girl was having poop problems and the vet could not find the problem, I switched to this food and it cleared up all her poop problems. Defiantly worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are transitioning from kibble to “REAL” food & our 3 year old German Shepard couldn’t be happier! She is a very well behaved & trained dog but when we are preparing this food we can’t keep her from putting her paws on the counter trying to get at the food! You can see the quality ingredients when you scoop it & she loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying the pouches as a topper for kibble and getting a great response, we are now feeding our 90 lb boy the complete dehydrated meals. He never really got excited over his old food unless I put something “special “ in it. He gobbles this up and smiles after! Essentially the same price as high quality kibble, but smells like real food, easy to store and take traveling, it’s healthy and he loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been wanting to try fresh/cooked/homemade or something other than kibble for a while and stumbled upon THK so gave it a shot. And glad we did! Our boy is back to being excited about mealtime and finishes his bowl in one setting. We do half kibble and half dehydrated to give him some crunch (for his teeth) and he finishes all of it. So far no issues with his skin, belly or poops!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 14 year old Basset Hound, and he can no longer eat dry food because of dental issues. I have tried many canned wet food brands out there, and he just couldn't tolerate eating them, he was experiencing severe digestive issues. I am so thankful to have found and tried the dehydrated food for him, he absolutely loves it, and his digestive issues are gone. He is back to being happy and playful. I add the pourovers and stews in addition to the water when hydrating the food, for extra flavor and nutrition also. Thank you for making such a healthy alternative to wet processed canned food, especially for our senior fur babies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I make my dog food for my 5 large rescue dogs. I supplement with a high quality dry food. I decided to Honest Kitchen to see if they would eat it as they are very picky. I started using 1/2 dry food and 1/2 Dehydrated Turkey and they love it. Two of my dogs are getting older and it seems hard for them to eat the dry kibble. This is just perfect. I love the ease and they love the taste. I still make venison dog food once a month or so as a treat but I will continue using Honest Kitchen.
First time switching from kibble

First time switching from kibble to dehydrated food at the recommendation of our integrative vet. THK was one of their top suggested brands to consider. Our Frenchie loves the dehydrated turkey recipes & he had no problem with the (gradual) switch! We alternate between the whole grain & grain free versions & he gets SO excited for both at meal time. Best part is that it's still easy & convenient to manage feeding our pup, especially as we travel, because it's shelf stable! And it's so much healthier!
Seems alot of this food goes to waste, literally. .

My dogs seem to like this food, maybe not as much as their raw food but I'm trying to make life simpler & this is much simpler to prepare. I have a few concerns about this food though: 1) protein content seems quite low, 2) carb content seems quite high, 3) my dogs poops were huge after eating this food which makes me wonder how much nutrition they're absorbing if so much is going to waste. I think I'll try the grain free options next to see if that helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog needed to go on something with less protein because of her Kidney and I could not find a good brand that had all the "stuff" in it. This brand seems to have it all together with great reviews! However, when I was switching my dog to just use the dehydrated food, her diarrhea was terrible-which over time it has got better. BUT then she has thrown up more times being on this food than her regular food. I did notice it help her with her thirst issue and her coat is so much shiner, so I guess there is good in that and I want to continue using this because of the good I have seen but I am worried it just doesn't sit in her stomach well. . she's only 3! Overall, I think this product is great and truly pure but I don't know if it is working for my puppy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading and listening to podcasts on the impact the type of food has on your dog (which I already knew, but thought I was doing ‘good’), I’ve been desperately seeking alternatives to the ‘good kibble’. The dogs LOVED HK dry kibble, but we can’t do beef or chicken because of the joint issues the Brittany gets. While I’ve moved to fish and lamb on other things, decided to try turkey with HK. The price point is easier than the fish options. The dogs love it. There have been no aggravations to Whytt’s joints. We are still working to help with the cattle dogs paw licking and lipomas. Finding some relief in supplements. But this food is one step in the right direction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two shelties love this food. They are 13 and 14 and the food has helped keep them going strong. They still want to go for their walk everyday. It has also helped maintain a healthy weight. Highly recommend.
