Add 1/2 teaspoon to 1/2 glass (4 fl. oz.) of water every 2 hours, or as directed by physician. Dissolve completely in water. Accurately measure 1/2 teaspoon. Do not take more than the following amounts in 24 hours: seven 1/2 teaspoons; three 1/2 teaspoons if you are over 60 years. Do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks., For use as a soak in bath: dissolve 1 to 2 cups in a tub of warm water; soak for 10 to 30 minutes as needed, or as directed by a doctor; pat dry (do not rub) to keep a thin layer on the skin. For use as a compress or wet dressing: add sodium bicarbonate to water to make a mixture in a container; soak a clean, soft cloth in the mixture; apply cloth loosely to affected area for 15-30 minutes; repeat as needed or as directed by doctor; discard mixture after each use.Adults and Children 2 Years of Age and Older

Essential for litter box use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy the big bags of baking soda, because I add several scoops to every fresh pan of cat litter. I think it helps to deodorize for a full 2 weeks, before I wash the litter box and repeat the process all over again. The only thing I don't love is that the zip closure is not great, and often gets clogged with powder. I have often transferred the contents of the bag to a plastic tub, as a result. #giveawayentry

Odor Destroyed

Once summer hit the entire house smelled like a dirty ashtray. I used an entire 5# resealable bag of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda and a driveway scrubbing brush to get it deep inside the carpet in every room and let it sit. Arm & Hammer Baking Soda isn't just for baking. I also use it as a deodorizer in the refrigerator and freezer. I also use it in my kitchen sink disposal with some vinegar to clear out the gunk in the pipes. This works great for clogged bathroom drains. Even adding some in my garden can help my tomatoes taste better. So many uses, and it's non-toxic!

I have a glass cookie jar. This is what I put the baking powder in. Getting the large bag is great. Less trips always on hand. It is good to see ways of using it. Alot of the younger generations have no idea . Passed from mother to daughter. It would be neat if the bag came with hint and tips.

I used it to get rid of lipstick that I had accidentally gotten on my duvet (attached before and after pics) and it was completely gone! The only reason I bumped off a star is that I was so excited about the resealable feature of the bag but parts of the product does leak through, which I had to find out the hard way.
