Q: After I had an acrylic tub installed, I was told no Dawn because it destroys acrylic. Same thing with my eye glasses. Is MRS Meyers is safe for acrylic?

Scent Taht

I wanted so badly to like this dish soap. We always use Mrs. Meyers dish soap, and I thought a fruit scent instead of the usual floral would add something fun to the washing routine. It smells incredible while you’re washing with it, powerfully enough for the entire sink to smell good the rest of the day after washing dishes. But that amazing scent seeps into any porous thing you wash with this. All of my Tupperware smells like tangerine fragrance after using this no matter how much I rinse it, and it is enough to nearly ruin any food stored inside of it. Might be good for someone pre-washing before putting things in a dishwasher, but not the right fit for someone hand washing everything.

No "Clementine Zesty Citrus" scent for me. Smells like Ben Gay.

Until now, I've only purchased Meyer's dish soaps during winter months when their "Limited Edition" scents of Acorn Spice and Gingerbread are available. For me, both are fabulous. So had high hopes upon discovering there was an "Clementine" --described as 'zesty citrus with a hint of vanilla' available. For me, the very faint 'citrus'scent is bombarded by a smell which reminds me of menthol....although that's not quite right. It reminds me of what my 95yr old Great Aunt used to rub on her sore joints...Ben Gay, I think it was. It does clean well, however, and has more suds than my beloved Acorn Spice had. Should've sniffed it in the store before purchasing. Bought 2 bottles, will be returning the unopened one. Will be going back to "Dawn" until I either discover a better Mrs Meyers, or until Fall rolls around again so I can get the Acorn Spice or Gingerbread.

Fresh citrus scent-Smells amazing!

I really love this scent in a dish soap. Uplifting,citrus forward, slightly unusual scent. Makes washing dishes enjoyable! Clementine is also a great scent in the hand soap version.

A good cruelty-free replacement for the blue soap

Dish soap can be a tricky formula to get right, so I am pleasantly surprised at how well this works! The consistency is a bit thinner than I’m used to so I need to get better about not using too much on accident, but I’m super happy with this and will repurchase.

Best hands soap for my sensitive skin.

Mrs. Myers’s honeysuckle and peppermint hand soap are the only soaps I have found I can use on my sensitive hands. I have tried many soaps, even dermatologist recommended soaps.
