When I read reviews mentioning this soap doesn't rinse off and smells weird I thought the reviewers must be a bit strange. Well, they are right: I used this dish soap on a cloth and was not wearing gloves. After rinsing my hands with water once, then again, and then again... I resorted to using a different dish soap to get this stuff off. Can't speak to how well it cleans, but if it sticks to hands like that I'm not sure how well it would rinse off dishes.

The soap is concentrated so you don't need much. It cleans well but honestly I can't wait to finish the bottle because I can't stand the scent. I would prefer a straight up lemon and not as string!

I bought this brand because its been so highly rated, and this is the most popular scent. I cannot tell you how many times my husband has told me how much he absolutely hates this scent within the 1 month this has been by our sink. (Honestly, that itself is annoying.) He actually prefers the strong scent of Dawn. He says this smells moldy (which I get is just the verbena scent). So, I will have to rate this low because of the scent. If I were ever to purchase this brand again, I would get a different scent.

I absolutely despise this scent. I'm a big fan of the lavender and basil (although I'd argue it doesn't smell anything like basil) and this scent smells nothing like lemon verbena I've smelled in the past. This smells nothing like the fresh lemony scent I'd expect. It smells horrid and makes me gag. I saw another review that said they wanted to wash their hands after washing their hands with this stuff. And I totally agree with that. Surprised to see how many like this scent!!

I am a Mrs Meyers lover. I have used Basil, Blubell, Geranium...loved all. None of those were avl at the store and I bought Lemon Verbena since I love REAL Lemon Verbena so much. Scent of this soap is nothing like Lemon Verbena, I always tell my partner 'Old men's cologne' when I wash dishes with this soap. I tempted to just throw all out. Seriously disgusting scent and it stays in hands. I hope SC Johnson discontinue this scent and create a new one or get Rose one back!!
