Q: I really wanted to like these. I have tried them several times and everytime I find 3-4 dishes that are not clean. Why is it happening. I even rinse my dishes off before putting them in the DW. Has anyone used 2 tabs instead of 1?

We recommend scraping off chunks of food before loading the dishwasher (no need to rinse). We also recommend trying a cycle with a longer pre-wash, and hotter water temperature, if possible. Additionally, we suggest placing more stained dishes or cups on the bottom rack!

While the tablets include a built-in rinse aid, we recommend adding a small amount of white vinegar to your rinse aid compartment to help boost performance and see if that resolves the issue.

  • A: Yes! For smaller appliances, (like the Momcozy baby bottle washer/sterilizer), we recommend using ¼ of a Blueland Dishwasher Detergent Tablet. These machines use much less water than a standard dishwasher, so a smaller amount of detergent is usually more effective and helps prevent residue! If breaking the tablet into quarters is tricky, you can use 1/2 of a tablet. Just be sure to rinse thoroughly after the cycle!

    Your dog can clean dishes better

    These are awful! I wanted to try something with a little “cleaner” ingredients. These pods barely get anything clean and leave a residue sometimes. The only time that they work is if there are MINIMAL dishes in the dishwasher. Cups and plates have to be spaced at least 3-4 inches apart and make sure you don’t leave a tiny bit of peanut butter on a knife or it’ll still be there when your dishwasher finishes. I will not be purchasing these again. I only have 2 stars because they technically do their job a little bit if you have 10 dishes total in your dishwasher. My dogs do a better job of cleaning than these pods do.

    Best dishwasher tabs I have ever tried!

The dishwasher filter would become clogged, and we were constantly having to use vinegar to wipe out the inside. Within a few washes with the Blueland Tabs our dishwasher is running better than ever.     Don't clean well :(

Bits of food were still stuck to some items, food stains didn't go away, and coffee/tea flavor/smell didn't quite wash away. Very sad about this!

    I love them

And the best part about them is they do not leave the dreaded dishwasher detergent smell on my dishes. My only complaint is sometimes I have to rinse a small amount of soap dust off my dishes but that is probably my crappy dishwasher's fault.

    Good & Bad

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good: I love that these are truly unscented. I’m extremely sensitive to smells and these have NO smell whatsoever while the dishwasher is running unlike some other clean brands I’ve tried. Love that it’s not a powder or plastic wrap around the pod.Love the eco friendly packaging and that it is resealable.Bad: Unfortunately it doesn’t clean super dirty or caked on food at all. Tons of junk still remains on dishes so then I have to hand wash them. It cleans fairly well if I pre rinse dishes. It leaves films and discolors silverware. On occasion it doesn’t totally dissolve and leaves tiny bits all over glass wear so I need to rinse everything off.I’m not sure if I will reorder at this time only because another clean brand that unfortunately has plastic coating actually cleans my dishes better with zero smell. If some tweaking of this product happens then I’d probably switch. Honestly, I’m still testing this product out and need to weight out these pro/con issues.
