    Very strong scent

    Dissolves fine in warm water, cleans fine, but my god the scent. If you like strong, masculine, cedar/patchouli/finda floral types of scents—you’ll be happy. If you prefer the “clean” scent of, say, Gain—this will make you want to avoid it entirely.

    Don't disolve

    We use warm water on every wash cycle and these tablets still don’t resolve in the wash leading me to have to collect the pieces of the raining table and rewash using another detergent.

To help ensure the Laundry Tablet dissolves properly during the wash, we recommend using a longer wash cycle and place the tablet directly into the drum beneath your clothes rather than in the dispenser drawer. This helps the tablet dissolve more effectively! Also, avoid overloading the washer, as this can restrict water flow and prevent the tablet from dissolving completely.

    Scent too strong

    I love most of the Blueland products but this one is a miss for me. The fragrance is super strong, like give you a head ache strong. I tried one tablet anyway to see if it faded after use but nope, still way too strong after washing and drying.

    BETTER than the BIG BRANDS!

    I love everything about this product! It cleans laundry like a boss and I have 4 dogs! Hair and dirt are the norm on clothes and bedding. I pair with the Lysol sanitizer and stains and smells are gone. No messy plastic bottle, easy to travel with, clean ingredients, smells better than any Gain fragrance and lasts longer. I have read a lot of reviews criticizing the smell but I hope it never changes. The first time I washed the comforter in this I was blown away! Yes, the smell can be overwhelming when you first open the bag so don’t lean in and take a big whiff. I used two tablets per the directions, placed in the bottom of my top load machine and washed and dried. No residue and washed on cold. I place the comforter on my bed and walked away. When my husband and I went into the bedroom to go to bed the room smelled heavenly. My hubby asked if I bought a new air freshener. Nope. Just the laundry detergent. Worried it would be too strong to fall asleep but again not so. Again did I mention I love this product!

    One of the best low-tox laundry detergents I’ve tried

    As someone who pays a lot of attention to ingredients and tries to keep a lower-tox home, finding a laundry detergent that is both “crunchy” and actually smells good can be surprisingly difficult. Most cleaner detergents I’ve tried either don’t clean very well or have no scent at all. Blueland Fresh Dew is one of the few products that gets both right. I love that the tablets are plastic-free, easy to store, and don’t come with all the unnecessary packaging of traditional detergents. The ingredient list is much simpler than many mainstream brands, which was one of the main reasons I decided to try it.

    Smells so bad i can't even tell if it works

    I prefer small ingredient lists with easy to research ingredients. I ran out of the laundry detergent I usually use, did a quick search for natural laundry detergents I could get locally in a pinch. This one showed up favorably in a few Reddit discussions, so I thought is give it a try, despite the higher price point. There is such a ridiculously heavy perfume fragrance in these tablets that not k Ly can I not even tell of things are clean or just perfumed (to the point of gagging), but I find I’m now putting off doing laundry just to not have to open the bag. It’s THAT bad. Cloying, heavy, obtrusive, and ultimately nauseating. I grant that I am somewhat sensitive to certain scents, but natural products, even when scented, usually don’t bother me. In fact the laundry soap I’ve used for years has a light fragrance that I really enjoy. Thankfully my regular laundry soap arrived today, so the rest of this bag is now going straight into the trash.

    Scent too strong, don't dissolve

    I am not sensitive to smells, but these are WAY too strongly scented. They also do not dissolve well (warm water), even placing them in the bottom of the washer per the instructions.

    Sorry to hear you weren't a fan of our Fresh Dew scent! In regards to the other issues you're seeing, the Laundry tablets can have trouble dissolving all the way if the washer is overloaded or if the cycle time is too short. These situations can create conditions where there isn't enough water or time for the tablet to fully dissolve. We recommend trying a longer wash cycle, with the tablet directly in the drum under your clothing, to see if that helps the issue!
