I was excited to try these as an alternative to traditional laundry detergent in my quest to reduce plastic. These tablets clean ok but the scent is overwhelming and awful.

I’ve tried the laundry detergent sheets and like them so I thought I would give this concept a try. These did not work for me at all. The tablets didn’t fully dissolve. I ended up having to rewash some clothes because one of the tablets that hadn’t dissolved was stuck to my shirt. Also, the scent is incredibly strong. I won’t buy these again. Very disappointed.

We appreciate your feedback! We suggest checking out our Free & Clear tablets, for a fragrance-free clean. Additionally, try placing the tablets at the bottom of the machine, before loading your washer - that should do the trick!

I thought I would try this and loved that they had no plastic, but the smell was so bad. It smelled worse than the detergents at the dollar store. I had a migraine and when my kids were even asking what the smell was I just threw it away.

The tabs seemed to dissolve better in warm loads vs cold loads. All items seemed clean post wash but when washing my kids clothes, maybe a little less so with regards to dirt and grass marks. The fact that the packaging wasn’t so wasteful is definitely a perk considering it is more environmentally friendly. Not too shabby, all in all.

I really love blueland laundry detergent. However, this scent is extremely strong. My family has commented on the scent being overwhelming from when we start the washer even through when we’re wearing the items. I’ll be going back to the fragrance free formula.

While the product seemed to work fairly well on a load of husbands clothes but the scent is extremely over-powering! Smells just like a bottle of Tide detergent, which isn’t what I was personally going for, and it’s strong! My entire house smells even tho the bag is closed and stored in a cabinet in another room. I had not realized the fragrance was synthetic (my fault) and it’s causing my lips and throat to burn. Do not use if sensitive to scents! This one is extremely strong and just gross. Nothing clean-smelling about it.

Tablets are even more convenient because they don’t stick together like sheets can. I love that they’re so easily portable to the laundry room, and they get the job done in terms of cleaning!
