  • A: Thanks for asking about our Lavender Laundry Detergent Pack. Seventh Generation has formulated all of our laundry detergents to work in High Efficiency (HE) washing machines. These products are formulated to work in both standard and HE machines using the same dosage directions. Our HE formulated laundry detergents can be used in all home washing machines and laundromats. When you see a blue oval symbol with "HE" in the lower right front of the package you will know that it can be used in your HE machine. If the HE symbol is not on the package, it should not be used in HE machines. We hope this helps!

    I like the scent but when I use the detergent pack or pod, it didn’t wash my clothes well enough. After the last wash cycle, I found the leftover detergent pack into a hard rock all over my clothes. I had to rewash my clothes again.

    Terrible

    These are terrible. The pods do not dissolve and leave large clumps after washing that actually ends up getting transferred into my dryer causing a mess. If you can get them to dissolve they do an adequate job of cleaning. Will not buy again.

    Contains plastic, choose powders instead

    These packs as well as any liquid gel tabs contain PVA which is plastic. They dissolve into microplastics in water and pollute our oceans and earth as well as ourselves. What happened to the plain powder you used to sell?? That is clearly the most sustainable choice.

    Great Cleaning Power and Great for Sensitive Skin.

    I received a sample of Seventh Generation Sensitive Skin Free & Clear. I do like this detergent. It has great cleaning power! It's eco-friendly, and this is a huge deal when we are dealing with a plastic crisis. I honestly prefer a scented laundry detergent. This is great for my husband because he works outside and it doesn't attract bugs. He also has sensitivities from soaps. Overall, this is a good product.

    Does not dissolve and causes skin irritation

    I had hope for these pods, but after trying them for multiple washes, they do not dissolve completely. I’ve tried them in cold water and even tested them in hot water. More concerning, I’ve noticed some irritation to my skin after using this product. This was the only change to my routine so it was without question that it what was caused the small itchy bumps on my skin.
