Q: How does this work with cold water in an HE front load washer? I only use cold water for my laundry. Although, I live in SC so the "cold" water isn't very cold.

A: A water temperature over 60 degrees Fahrenheit will work.

Q: Can I pre-dissolve this powder in a container of water so that I essentially have a liquid detergent to add to cold water laundry loads? Your liquid version does not work as well as the powder.

A: Yes, you can pre-dissolve our powder in hot or warm water then add the solution to your dispenser cup before the wash cycle. However, we recommend doing this right before each load, rather than doing it all at once (and storing the solution for an extended period of time), due to the powder settling in the water over longer periods of time.

A: The stand-up pouches are made from an LLDPE film (plastic). Our Original Laundry Detergent Powder does not contain enzymes.

A: Our Laundry Powder will work well to break up the hardness/minerality of well water, as it contains Sodium Carbonate which functions as a water softener. Please follow directions on the back of packaging for best results (i.e., add powder directly to drum of washing machine before adding clothing, use warm to hot water, do not overfill drum with clothes).

My new laundry detergent
I started using Molly's Suds a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. There is no fragrance, no scent, four safe ingredients, it washes my clothes thoroughly and I feel great about using this. I use 1 1/2 scoops with a heavy duty, warm water cycle on most loads. The powder does not leave residue unless you overload the washer and have dark clothing in there that it might show up on. Overall, would 10/10 recommend.
