I like the smell, to me it’s similar to arm & hammer “clean burst” scent however this detergent made my clothes feel abnormally gritty similar to that feeling you get when you wash your hands and they feel squeaky clean. I always wash my clothes without fabric softener and I haven’t experienced this until I used this product. It’s also very watery, so all in all the smell is nice but I wouldn’t repurchase this.

I’ve been trying hard to find a more natural laundry soap that cleans as well as the Tide free and clear, and this was not it. It has the slightest scent, not too overpowering, and it worked great in the washer, but it did not clean the same. I am a messy baker, and it didn’t take out the basic kitchen smudges on my clothes. I found that I ended up re-washing with the Tide. I used it for things like the bathroom rugs or clothes that hadn’t been worn in the kitchen messes, and it did ok. But I really needed something that I could use for everything.

The older I get the less I become tolerant of smells. The scent is very strong and lasts throughout the washer and dryer step. It stays on the clothes for over a week and causes surrounding clothes to smell like the detergent too. It’s the only thing you’ll be able to smell, so there’s no point in wearing perfume. I couldn’t even wear my clothes. I had to rewash everything. Some people really love that type of detergent, so they’ll love this detergent. However, if you’re not interested in a long lasting scent, then maybe skip this detergent.

This soap does not clean well. One night I was crying and had a black hoodie on. After using the detergent with warm water I still had snots stuck to my sleeves. Eeeww!

Ive mean using this for a year now. Bought a new bottle and they seemed to have changed the formula. I used to tolerate it fine. I bought a new Bottle and Immediately I broke out in head to toe hives and blisters and my body swelled up. I used to love this detergent so I decided to rule out any other causes and tried it a few more times. Everytime within minutes of touching something (a towel) or putting on clothes washed with the detergent the same reaction happened. Just beware. If you have sensitive skin watch out. Returning and never using it again.

After all the good reviews I read I really had high hopes for this product. I wanted something that was biodegradable & septic safe that cleaned well. I find it to be way to fragrant and it irritated my skin. I don’t consider myself to have sensitive skin and have never had this issue with detergent.

We love the smell of Fresh Air for our clothes. It’s light and refreshing at a fair cost. However, the color of the bottles we ordered& received were more like that of Beach Sage. We have yet to open but I am hopeful.
