Our liquid laundry detergents contain enzymes to help break down tough stains on clothes, and are suitable for washing almost any type of fabric, including production wool (Smartwool, Ibex, Icebreaker, etc). We do suggest being cautious when using fine silk or fine/virgin wool, since enzymes can break down the fragile fibers. If you are concerned about the enzymes in the liquid laundry detergent, you can try our Dish Soap to hand-wash your wool garments. The Dish Soap contains many of the same cleaning agents as the laundry detergent, but does not contain the enzymes. We hope this helps!

    Frustrating dispenser

    It seems like the packaging was changed a few months ago, making it much harder to squeeze the right amount of detergent out. I love this stuff but it’s so irritating that I won’t be buying it again. Change it back please!!

    Great product, but need refill for it

    I’ve been using this Easydose ultra concentrated laundry detergent for a few months now, and I really like it. The Sensitive Skin version is properly free of irritants, which is extremely important to me. I had been using your less concentrated form for years, but I never could see the alleged measuring marks inside the cap, so I had to guess at how much to use. Then I found out about your Easydose option, and knew it was the answer. Sure enough, it works great. So why only four stars from me? That’s because there isn’t a refill bottle available, so I feel like I’m using an awful lot of plastic, and that’s no good. So please make a refill for this product so I don’t have to go back to guessing with the other.

    Easy Dose bottle

    We love how simple this laundry detergent is to use- my kids can help so much more now! The Easy Dose bottle prevents over pouring and really, a little goes a long way. Clean, fresh, lavender scented laundry that's easy to do.

    Please revert to the old style dispenser lid

    While I like the lavender scent, the newly designed dispensing lid is terrible. The prior (white) one worked flawlessly; the new (green) one squirts out about a 1/4 teaspoon at a time. How many quarter teaspoons do I need? I dunno. The white lid was one squirt and done. I am wildly disappointed, and I see from reading the other comments that I am not alone. Please revert to a package design that WORKS.

    What is wring with the cap. It does not self measure and I’ve wasted so much product. Love the detergent but the bottle measuring system is way off. What a disappointment.

    The cap does not measure correctly!

    I had the same issue with the cap as the other people, the green lid dispenses waaay more than it's supposed to!! I ended up using a measuring cap from a liquid medicine bottle to measure every time I use the detergent to make sure I'm putting in the right amount. I'm not sure how the made it past quality assurance… please fix this seventh generation!!

    New Cap doesn’t work

    I have been using this detergent for years. However the new green dispensing caps do not work. I have to squeeze air from the bottle to get the caps to dispense the amount required for a clean load. Otherwise, it dispenses a very small amount. Love the product, hate the new cap design.

    Love that my kids can use it

    I absolutely love this laundry detergent. It's great for my 10 year olds to be able to do their laundry and not use too much detergent. The scent is nice and not overpowering. It cleans our clothes well and the smell is nice. The packaging is great as well and has been my new go to for a few months now!

    I love everything about this product. It is easy to handle and doesn’t leave another massive plastic jug in the landfill. It cleans really well and smells very subtly earthy.     The new green cap easy dose dispensing mechanism is a pain in the booty! Love the detergent, very displeased with the new cap! I replaced my green cap with the white from my previous bottle. I hope it lasts until you bring the white cap mechanism back! : )

    Soap: great; New caps don't work

    We've used this for at least two years. But the last three bottles we've purchased the caps didn't work. I had to dig an old cap out of our trash and swap it out with the new one...the detergent works great, just be sure to keep your old caps until they figure out what's going wrong in the manufacturing process.....

    Dont buy the Green Lid!!

    I have loved this product for yearrrrrsss. But don’t buy the green lid!! It doesn’t work. Luckily I had a previous bottle that I could swap but NOTHING comes out of the new one. How did this pass QA?!

    Easy dose does not work

    I did a lot of research before choosing this product. I have only washed one load, and it seemed to be fine. On the second load, one squeeze of liquid detergent seemed to be more than I thought it should be. I measured and had squeezed 1/2 cup. The easy dose was supposed to squeeze out 2 teaspoons. So, if you buy this, you are going to have to figure out your own way of dispensing 2 teaspoons until the company redesigns the bottles.
