A: Thank you for reaching out. Our liquid laundry detergents contain enzymes to help break down tough stains on clothes, and are suitable for washing almost any type of fabric, including production wool (Smartwool, Ibex, Icebreaker, etc). We do suggest being cautious when using fine silk or fine/virgin wool, since enzymes can break down the fragile fibers. If you are concerned about the enzymes in the liquid laundry detergent, you can try our Dish Soap to hand-wash your wool garments. The Dish Soap contains many of the same cleaning agents as the laundry detergent, but does not contain the enzymes. We hope this helps!

Cap is awful, lavender stinks
As others have noted, the cap is horrible. You need 10 ml, it doses either too much or too little (I squirted into a measuring cup for liquid medicine). I also hate the lavender scent. My clothes smelled gross and I had to run another cycle to get the stink out.

Green cap doesn’t work
I have used this product for many years. I recently bought a new bottle. . They changed the cap. It used to be white and the dosing worked great. Then they changed the cap to green and it is a disaster. No matter how hard I squeeze, only a few drops dribble out. It is unusable! What were they thinking? I won’t buy another bottle with a green cap. What a shame.

This review is for the new cap dispenser design. I have been purchasing this laundry detergent for the past 4-5 years and it's been great. The new cap dispenser design is awful! It isn't accurate and then spurts detergent all over the cap making it sticky and wasting the product.

Great Scent, But Caused a Rash
I really liked the scent, but unfortunately it caused a severe itchy rash on my arms. I wore a jacket that had been washed with this detergent, and within a short time I broke out anywhere the fabric touched my skin. While the fragrance was nice, I won’t be using it again due to the skin reaction.

I really hate the green cap
I love this detergent but I just wish I had kept the white cap from my old bottle. The green cap frustrated me greatly today. It did not dispense at all and then started to leak. Please bring back the white caps!!!

New bottle is a bad design—not accurate dosing
I have used this detergent for years and love it, however the most recent two bottles have a different design for the dosing mechanism. Even though I follow the instructions, it does not dose correctly and puts in too much detergent. I am going through the bottles much faster now. There is no way I am getting 66 loads. Last night when my son helped with laundry he squeezed the bottle and the detergent kept coming and coming. It didn’t stop until I grabbed the bottle from him and we probably had four or five loads worth of soap in there. He was used to the old style bottle. Sometimes I also can’t get any soap at all out of the bottle and have to tip it around a few times to get the mechanism to let soap out. The new mechanism does not work well and I wish you would switch it back to the previous bottle which worked great!

Frustrating dispenser
It seems like the packaging was changed a few months ago, making it much harder to squeeze the right amount of detergent out. I love this stuff but it’s so irritating that I won’t be buying it again. Change it back please!!

Great product, but need refill for it
I’ve been using this Easydose ultra concentrated laundry detergent for a few months now, and I really like it. The Sensitive Skin version is properly free of irritants, which is extremely important to me. I had been using your less concentrated form for years, but I never could see the alleged measuring marks inside the cap, so I had to guess at how much to use. Then I found out about your Easydose option, and knew it was the answer. Sure enough, it works great. So why only four stars from me? That’s because there isn’t a refill bottle available, so I feel like I’m using an awful lot of plastic, and that’s no good. So please make a refill for this product so I don’t have to go back to guessing with the other.

I've been using this detergent by Seventh Generation for a few years. I've continued using this product because it works. I like the clean that takes place when I launder my things with this detergent. I'm not big on extra scents in the products I use, and this one fits that requirement perfectly for me. Easy Dose bottle
We love how simple this laundry detergent is to use- my kids can help so much more now! The Easy Dose bottle prevents over pouring and really, a little goes a long way. Clean, fresh, lavender scented laundry that's easy to do.

Please revert to the old style dispenser lid
While I like the lavender scent, the newly designed dispensing lid is terrible. The prior (white) one worked flawlessly; the new (green) one squirts out about a 1/4 teaspoon at a time. How many quarter teaspoons do I need? I dunno. The white lid was one squirt and done. I am wildly disappointed, and I see from reading the other comments that I am not alone. Please revert to a package design that WORKS.

What is wring with the cap. It does not self measure and I’ve wasted so much product. Love the detergent but the bottle measuring system is way off. What a disappointment.
