A: Their toilet paper is individually wrapped and is sold in a box; however, the 6 count of paper towels I received are not individually wrapped, but they are wrapped together in paper packaging.

Q: what happened? these used to be much stronger. now they are super thin and look a lot whiter as if they’ve been bleached even more? even the cardboard roll in the center is now white instead of brown? the quality has definitely declined.

Something changed

Prior to my recent purchase, I would have given them 5 stars, as this has always been my favorite brand of the bamboo/recycled paper towels; however, the last package I purchased are of a lesser quality. Much thinner than my previous purchases, and now require two hands to tear or they will rip. I don’t understand what caused the quality to drop so quickly, but I’m not a fan.

Quality Dropped. Switching Brands

They recently changed these and the quality is so bad now. They are thin, scratchy, and rip apart easily. Feels like scotts, but priced like bounty. Super disappointed as we had just found this brand about half a year ago and used to be happy with it. Now we need to find a new brand.

Disappointed in Recent Quality

What happened to these paper towels?! I've been buying reel since it first launched at Target. They've always been wonderful until now. The paper towels are thinner, tear when taking a sheet off the roll and they make a strange crunchy sound while using. I don't know what this company changed, but I hope they go back to the way they used to do things, otherwise, I'll be on the hunt again for a good/clean brand.

Major Quality Drop

I’ve been buying Reel products and these paper towels for years after switching all of my paper products to bamboo, and I’ve always loved the quality. Unfortunately, my latest purchase was a huge disappointment. It seems like the product changed while the packaging stayed exactly the same. These paper towels are now incredibly thin and flimsy — comparable to the cheapest budget brands. They don’t absorb well and tear much more easily than they used to. I chose Reel because I wanted an eco-friendly product without sacrificing quality, but that’s no longer the case. I’ll be switching to a different brand and just hope they haven’t made the same quality downgrade to their toilet paper.

Bring back the quality!

Loved these paper towels and have been using them for over a year. They were soft and thick, great quality. They recently changed the product completely and now they are terrible quality. They went cheap with the product but not the price. Thin, scratchy and fall apart. Going to have to find another brand. So disappointed!

The product has changed and it’s awful now. I wrote to the manufacturer and do not plan on purchasing this again after being a customer for years. These were the best until recently I noticed the roll is now white instead brown and the paper is thin leave white residue everywhere and does not absorb anything. Awful change

Quality went majorly downhill

I purchased these back in June and absolutely loved them. They were nice and thick, and I didn't have to use as many compared to the cheaper brands. I bought some more today because I was excited to find a "better" paper towel brand that I loved, and I'm so disappointed. You'd think I purchased a cheap brand with how crunchy and thin they are now. 10/10 do not recommend.

Although I have loved these paper towels, I’m kind of disgusted to find what looks to be a squashed bug inside one of the paper towels. It was maybe a few paper towels in from the first roll of my pack. I am so disappointed and don’t know if to discard the whole pack. :(

Lowered the quality now they are TRASH!

Why would they lower the quality? Tired of these corporations finding loopholes to increase their profits. These use to be the best napkins, soft, thick and high quality. Now they are cheap, rough like sand paper, thin, and tear in half when trying to tear one off. Will be returning and going back to bounty. What a shame.

I've used these for years now. I love the packaging not being plastic wrapped with more plastic, and the sustainability of the bamboo. The texture when wet and scrubbing is a bit sturdier than Bounty and other non-bamboo brands, which helps remove messes and the make-a-size perforation is always super convenient.

Quality has changed

I loved these but they have changed! :( way thinner and makes a crunchy sound when I use them. Hoping they will go back how they were last month. If not, on to a different bamboo brand. We also use the Reel TP..please don’t change that or we will be using another brand as well.
