The liquid dish detergent contains plant-derived cleaning agents and other thoughtfully chosen ingredients that make dishes clean and bright. It's a Dish Soap made without parabens, phthalates, or animal-derived ingredients. And of course, this is a cruelty-free formula product. Packaging contains recycled content. A: Hi there! While it would not be harmful, using our Dish Soap as a hand wash would not offer the same benefits as our Hand Soap would offer. I love the Basil scent and the dish soap cleans well. Ive never had a problem with the soap not cutting grease as others have said. I'm a huge mrs. Meyer's fan and buy all the products. Basil is my favorite scent with cut grass following close second.

the ingredients are earth conscious
i like this product because its all natural and plant based. i feel confident i am not polluting the environment with this. but it can sometimes leave an odd residue smell on some dishes, especially tupperware. the plastic seems to absorb the smell. that is unfortunate.
