I read comments about the candlie not working. I thought so at first. However you have to press the switch on the bottom and then it will work with remote. Hope this was helpful.

The items themselves are nice and I like them; 2 of the 3 somehow arrived undamaged. The wax candles were just tossed into the box with no protection and were scuffed up in shipping. I am returning them. My experience with many retailers has been poor with respect to shipping quality control. 3 stars due to poor shipping packaging.

They are pretty but 2 don’t work. I see that’s a common theme in the reviews. So you can take a chance maybe you will be a lucky one that will get 6 that actually work!

I like the way they look when they are on however the little piece of white plastic at the top of the candle is a bit off-putting when they are not on. I couldn't help but notice that several people said that they do not work and I thought the same thing initially but there's a little button on the bottom of each candle to turn it on initially and then you can use the remote.

I love these candles. They’re a perfect warm color to my rooms that I have these in. I see a lot of reviews saying they don’t work. At first I thought they didn’t but there’s a button on the bottom of the candle you have to push in for them to turn on for the first time. Then going forward you can just use the remote.

These are beautiful quality but they were grey not green. The green looks nothing like the pic online.

Half of them wouldn’t work and didn’t come with the remote. And of course it says they can’t be returned.

Cute candles! I live every color it was hard to choose!! Don’t get rid of them!

Although the candles are very pretty, they arrived with only 3 vs. 6 candles, no timer and was not packaged in their original packaging. They were loose in a target box. Disappointed.

Love the warm color over white candles. The flame flickers and the ridge details makes them seem real. Love them

Candles are so beautiful but one of this is not working

It is good quality it the candles even have a waxy feel to them. I love that the candles flicker and genuinely look real. They also have the warmth that a real candle has. The timer is great for making sure you don’t run out your batteries. You can also turn off individual candles with the button on the bottom of them. You do have to purchase AAA batteries separately (two per candle) which combined with the price makes this item a bit pricey. However I do overall think it is worth it for the quality. As I’ve never seen fake candles this nice before.

I received grey candles not green candles

I ordered GREEN candles but what I got was gray.....not greenish at all! Ordered for the holidays but not sure if I'll use at all. Haven't tried lighting up yet because I'm so disappointed I'm going to wait awhile.

Love these candles!!!! Perfect for Fall!

The candles themselves were very realistic looking. However, the color green was not green at all. It was gray. I even asked the lady that did my return and she agreed the color was gray.

I never leave bad reviews but I’m so upset that I need to. I love this brand and I’ve bought many things from Hearth and Hand. I bought the candle stick stand (pictured) and seen these candles to go with it. I was so excited when I brought them home, I knew they would be perfect in this space. However, all 6 candles didn’t work. I put brand new batteries in them and replaced the battery in the remote, pressed the button on the bottom of each candle and still none of them worked. I can’t return them either because I threw the box away. They were pricey but I loved the look, functionality, and safety of flameless candles. It’s a shame that I can’t enjoy them now.

Bought these and none of them work! They are not returnable and I already threw away my box. They are beautiful but I am so disappointed!

We use tapered battery operated candles all year round. These are fabulous! I love the fact that they’re a real wax and they come with a timer. First I purchased the orange (what they call it) color which is really like a mulberry in my opinion . I love the look, functionality and the quality so much that I bought the other two colors. Typically, I would wait for a sale, but these are such great quality at $30 for six wax taper candles with a timer! Just go look at Luminara and you’ll know what I mean! Great job on these Hearth & Hand. I would love to see these available year-round in different colors. The green looks more like a medium gray to me. But they lend themselves nicely to black and grey tones. If you can wait for a sale, great, but you don’t want to miss them being out of stock. I highly recommend.

These look great and sit stable in the holders which can be a problem with fake candles. Flames “flicker” a bit which I love. I will also be purchasing the green set.
