Q: How is it sold out not even a minute up?

submitted by Same ol same ol - 3 months ago
  • A: Harbor put out the wrong release time on their Livestream.

submitted byActionFigureDigest - 1 month ago
  • A: I agree. Scalpers using bots are able to purchase beyond the limit imposed by Target. That’s the whole point of bots. Anything Target exclusive for Marvel Legends is a struggle for customers (never enough product). Any marvel legends fan knew Psylocke was a hot commodity. They should have opened this up to all retailers.

    submitted byKp33 - 1 month ago
  • A: Target is the worst for exclusives. All the items are out of stock even before they hit the date so you know it’s an inside job.

submitted byMarvel fan - 1 month ago
  • A: It wasn't, was sold out exactly 8 minutes. Thanks Target 🎯

submitted bySuwu - 1 month ago
  • A: Hope they are going to do a better job of making this widely available. Ms. Marvel Warbird, 80th anniversary Wolverine, and Venompool never hit shelves here in Denver. If you're going to get exclusives, they need to be as numerous as the Savage Land Professor Xs I'm finding everywhere.

    submitted byMVM901 - 1 month ago
  • A: Why was this item even listed online?... It didnt even show in stock on release date nor it showed any store availability for purchase... why was it listed?

submitted byDs - 1 month ago
  • A: Allowing scalpers and bots to snatch up these products and keep collectors from paying the regular price is a bad practice. I can't stand to see Target or Walmart get hasbro exclusives!

submitted byxmen fan - 3 months ago
  • A: Everyone gotta stop acting like addicts and boycott the figures until they fix these issues and quality control

submitted byBoohoo - 1 month ago

Q: How TF did this go LIVE at 1:00pm and becsold out at 1:00pm? What did you do, offer 5?

submitted by David - 3 months ago
  • A: They had a limit of 2

submitted byWow - 2 months ago
  • A: It went live at 9am and sold out in like 5 minutes

submitted bySpookySneakers - 1 month ago
  • A: Apparently it went live around 5 in the morning and sold out immediately

submitted byAlex - 3 months ago
  • A: Nah bro, as laid out by Hasbro it was to go live at 1pm, Friday 06.06.2025. Many were left empty handed when we went to add it to our carts at the minute and it was OUT. Target fails AGAIN.

submitted byDavid - 1 month ago
  • A: I have called target corporate before and they’re aware they have no practices or policies in place to stop scalpers or employees from taking advantage of the system and fudging stock numbers to then be able to claim out of stock when they never even went into stock. Then Target employees sell them for double or triple profit on secondhand market after buying them with employee discounts. Makes me very happy to know this information obviously

submitted byTarget exclusives suck - 1 month ago

Q: When will target stop carrying collectibles due to their incompetence?

submitted by Rhymal - 1 month ago
  • A: Dude Target pays to get the exclusives Hasbro doesn't just decide randomly who gets what Mr Florids. Called capitalism.

    submitted byEDDIE_T_HEAD - 24 days ago
  • A: When Hasbro/Others wake up and sees that they're a garbage business partner. I can't tell you how many times I've been jipped on something I wanted for my kids because of Target's incompetence.

submitted byDavid - 1 month ago
  • A: Probably never... It's been an issue for a long long time.

submitted byRed five - 26 days ago
  • A: Blame Hasbro. There's nothing requiring them to make this specific set a Target exclusive. They consistently look at items they know all collectors would want and based upon that offer certain ones to big box stores under an ongoing exclusivity agreement. They could easily make excess for future orders to be replenished on time so that locations can resupply quicker but they fail to do that at well. Target can only put what they get on shelves from each vendor once received. Hasbro continues to not have its logistics right so done places will never receive this set due to low stock nationwide. It's easy to fix but Target's system is mostly automated so supply has to be greater in order for this issue to stop happening each and every time.

submitted bySouth Florida Collector - 25 days ago

Q: Scalpers need to be confronted

submitted by Ant - 25 days ago
  • A: Target could just limit it 1 per customer. Again an easy fix.

submitted bySouth Florida Collector - 25 days ago
  • A: Limiting amounts that buyers can purchase doesn't stop bots online. In store it doesn't stop someone from bringing family or friends to each purchase one, & many stores won't bother enforcing the limit to begin with. So limiting how many you can buy doesn't really work.

    submitted byDorkKnight78 - 22 days ago

Q: Will anything be done to make this right with actual customers? Scalpers were able to buy the entire stock before the public. Third party sellers have them all at over 200% markup, check.

submitted by ShelfShock - 1 month ago
  • A: Absolutely not. Target doesn't care about their customers. Never have. Never will.

submitted byFigureItOut - 1 month ago
  • A: This has been happening with Target Exclusives for years, and Target has done absolutely NOTHING to stop it or even address it with customers. And they wonder why many demographics of their customer base have abandoned them.

submitted byBrian - 14 days ago

Q: Can we expect a second wave to be released?

submitted by GoneTooSoon - 1 month ago
  • A: Check back on Sunday, July 20th. That is the street date, and it should become available again then. At the very least, you should be able to see then which stores had it in stock that morning.

submitted byRish Outfield - 1 month ago
  • A: My store only had 3 on hand. 2 guys ahead of me got 2 out of 3. There was another guy who came after us, & I knew he wanted one as well but didn't know that they only had enough for us 3 :(

submitted byTeknomanDre - 1 month ago

Q: When will you at least try to sell to collectors instead of scalpers?

submitted by cfpe - 30 days ago
  • A: Corporations aren't gonna care one way or the other as long as they got paid.

submitted byRiley - 29 days ago
  • A: Never! Ever! We make more money doing business with scalpers like Flipper Frank.

submitted byFlipped Off - 27 days ago

Q: Who do I report my local target to for breaking street date? Was told by two employees to wait until the 20th then all three available at my store were sold out before then somehow...

submitted by Jake Macready - 1 month ago
  • A: Go to the help section under store experience and call the 1-800 number. Everyone that’s reading this should call and tell them about all of these issues. Time to complain LOUD people.

Target, you gotta improve your packaging protection for shipping. The shipping box and the figure box was all smashed up upon arrival. 60 bucks for what? Do better.

I thought I lucked out when I found this set for our son’s birthday actually on the shelf. There were 4 at the time and I figured they had just put them out and I won the “beat the scalpers to it lottery”. 3 days later and they still have 3 on the shelf!! I hate that everybody else has struggled to find them, but if you’re traveling through Topsham, ME as of today, August 1st at 11am, there’s still 3 left.

Psylocke is almost perfect as a figure, except the frustrating lack of toe joints on Marvel's #1 ninja charater making it impossible for her to ninja crouch. Her accessories are poorly designed however, and don't seem like they were designed to attach to this (or any) Marvel Legends figure. Thanos is technically solid and accurate tohis Marvel vs Capcom game appearances, but it sure is weird to see Thanos in lavender and orange instead of blue and gold/yellow. And the lack of accessories for Thanos makes him feel very limited. He can....stand menacingly, punch, kick, punch some more, and snap his fingers. Grabbing or open hands would've been great to grab and throw other characters or do Hamlet monologues with a skull in his hand. Energy effects for each of the Infinity Stone powers would've been awesome. I have a lot of Thanoses. I think he's #14 or #15. He's going in the box of Thanoses and unlikely to find a place on a shelf unless I assemble a full Marvel vs Capcom shelf. In the pantheon of Thanoses, he's not one of the useful ones to me. But TECHNICALLY I guess he's well done for what he is and is meant to represent from the game.

Great Product, Terrible Store Practices

1 out of 5 stars
Thumbs up graphic, would recommend
fidel666 - 22 days ago
Explain to me how or why a product could possibly be found in stores, even as the website continually shows it out of stock? Nevermind the almost negligent pre-order practice, this item continues to be found in stock at random stores across the country but it won't show up as in-stock at those same stores nor available online for purchase. You pretty much gotta roll the dice and go to whatever store(s) is near you and maybe they have it, maybe they don't. You might as well not have a website for these kinds of products.

The figures are great. Im rating 2 star due to the way this exclusive was handled. I finally found them the day after I paid ebay prices to a scalpers. Where is the protection for collectors. Yeah target gets paid no matter who buys it but your customers suffer by paying 2-3 times what you charge to people with bots that can order quicker than we can. Perhaps target can take this feedback and come up with an outside of the box solution.

Psylocke shines in this 2-pk with the articulation fans have been wait for, but Thanos is also a solid addition to the Gamerverse line and Marvel vs. Capcom influenced figures. I took one star away because this was Psylocke is highly coveted figure and making it apart of a 2pk is already more expensive, but also being exclusive to Target then makes it difficult to find when even pre-orders sell out in less than 10 minutes.

This will be my definitive Psylocke for a good while. It's only missing the long hip sachel and a decent kitana as her melee weapon. Thanos is okay but not anything I need for my collection. I wish it wasn't such a hassle just to get these in store. It's a whole week after the street date and still none of the stores nearby be have this set in their inventory. Good thing I was able to get one through pre-order.

Like: BOTH figures are awesome. Dislike: jumping through hoops to get the actual item. Didn't know if the stores would have more than what they initially were shipped. Street date was 7/21 and the app was useless as it was not updated to show actual inventory at any store. I saw another 4 boxes this morning on the shelf with a 2nd shipment, but the app STILL says out-of-stock.
