The Lakeside Collection Round Accent Tables

I'd been looking for this exact design for ages so I could mosaic the top. It's perfect. Just make sure you put the small nails through the bottom of the tabletop, as the long ones will pierce through. I did this, but since I'm redoing the top anyway, it doesn't matter. Really good item for the price; very sturdy.

I got what I paid for. Had I paid full price, I’d be tempted to return it. It’s flimsy, the legs don’t fit flush against the pedestal, and one of the screws that secures the pedestal to the top is poking through the surface. Since it looks nice at a glance, I’ll keep it. If you’re looking for a sturdy and usable table, this ain’t it.

The table design is great, however the attempt to give it the stressed look is horrible. It looks like they laid the table top on the ground and ran 3 tires over it. Either leave it plain white, which would be my choice or greatly improve your stress technique.

I was excited when I saw this item in the catalog, because it was exactly what I needed as a portable side table for my 'cottage style' family room. The price was right and it looked lovely. Although the materials are sturdy, the size perfect....and it was easily assembled, we immediately noticed what first appeared to be flaws in the painting of the table top. There were three obvious stripes of greyed (unpainted) areas on the flat surface. Similar areas were noted on the three support legs, although the appearance of those made us realize that they were (apparently) attempts at 'distressing' the finish. While it is questionable whether the finish on the legs qualify for that designation, there is no way that the straight lines on the table top could possibly be mistaken for authentic wear and tear. It is a shame that this ruined an otherwise nice product. Because we loved the table, rather than return it, we are going to paint the table top ourselves to fix the issue.

I bought this table because we needed another small table to match our antique table. Please take time and read the assemble instructions through first. For the first time in my life I did not and I did not notice that the two screws that hold the top on were smaller than the others. So I have a one of a kind table with two small hole through the top. It was easy to flatten the mistake and it looks good now. Besides a small table cloth hides them. A great size for a vase of flowers.
