Coleman 7' Skydome Camping 2 Person Family Tent - Evergreen

I have used this tent several times for moto-camping as well as car camping with my dog over a multi-day trip to Maine and back from Illinois. I love how easy it is to set up as well as how nice the ventilation is even with the rain cover on. Roomier up top than most 2-person tents and definitely kept me dry in rainy conditions. Even though I look at more expensive tents online for possible upgrades, I don't pull the trigger because I'm happy with what I got. Until I have a bad experience with it, I will keep using the Coleman Skydome as my primary small camping tent.

Came with a hole in the floor and a tear in the corner. Set up three days before a planned camping trip so didn’t have time to return. I do however like the simplicity of set up and take down. Perfect size for myself and my gear. Coleman gave me suggestion for tape to repair so will do that until I can find something new. Will be looking for something similar in a different brand.

This tent literally survived a tropical storm. It stayed dry inside and didn’t collapse. Stakes held and aren’t bent at all. I don’t recommend it since the tent would fold almost all the way over in some of the stronger gusts, but every time it sprang right back up good as new. I will say that I don’t find the built in poles any easier - if anything they’re slightly harder to manage than regular. But after staying dry and safe through a storm I have to give this tent a 5.

I usually have an 8 person tent but I wanted to downsize for my solo trips with my dog. This fits a sleeping pad easy with half the space still available for my bags and my dog’s bed. It really does have more height as advertised which I found to be really nice. The tub like design of the bottom is great but makes the tent look a little awkward in the front like it’s not straightened out.

It's a good product for beginners. It is not very water resistant. Comfortable and easy to setup. Good value for the price but be careful in the rain.

It fits 2 people as long as you sleep close. It was easy to set up.

I have a large tent for extended stays, but wanted a small one for short stays in primitive areas. this is an excellent tent except the door is too small! I am 6' 1'' and 63 years old and believe me, exiting and entering are rough. I can barely get through without crawling ; not fun when it's near freezing and the grass is covered with dew. It made me feel as if I were going through a portal in the space station. This is not to disparage the tent, it is an excellent product, but for someone younger and smaller than me.

After struggling with putting the tent up, 50 minutes vs 5 minutes, it looks like a pretty good investment. Instructions are really non-existent other than the video on the web site which I should have watched first. It would have saved a lot of time. The rain fly isn't quick to attach so watch your weather reports.

Bought this tent earlier this year. Have been using it for the past few weeks and I’m fairly impressed. Sets up super simple once you know how. Has held up in rain, wind, and golf ball sized hail that dented my car hood, but left this little guy standing. Pack up is fairly fast, and once you get the hang of it, completely fits back in the bag. Took a point off bc there is only one window, so cross breeze isn’t an option. The dark colored rain flap makes it entirely too hot in during the day. And let’s be honest, only one adult is sleeping comfortably inside!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tent is very nice and very easy to put up. I love that the instructions are sewn into the bag that it comes in. If you just follow the instructions, you can put this tent up in less than 10 minutes by yourself. Taking the tent down is easy too, however the instructions are a little more vague on how to roll the tent up to fit it back in it's carry bag, but once you figure it out, there is no problem. My children enjoyed how much room is in this tent as well. I was impressed with the head room and that there still seemed to be enough space to move around.

I put it together in a matter of minutes by myself. Simple! Seems like it is made very well and it's "breathable" which is super nice!

This tent folds up easily and comes down pretty quickly. I took a star off because I am pretty sure I'm not going to be able to get it up in five minutes. Ever. That might just be me though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this tent for a two day camping trip. I love how small the tent packaging is. Very easy to carry. Setting it up was a breeze. It took us between 10-15 minutes. We used a full size mattress. It can accommodate a queen size but that would literally leave no floor space for storage. We barely had any. Getting dressed inside was a bit of a challenge as well. We definitely didn’t have room to stand up. It rained a little our first night. I was concerned about everything inside the tent getting wet but the tent did it’s job and we could relax and just listen to the sounds of nature. I would recommend this for one to two people with very little gear.

This tent was made to last and it's designed well. We haven't used it in wet weather but it looks like it would keep us and our stuff dry. I love camping and plan to use this often.

Not sure how it would hold up in the rain as didn't have any chance to try it under that weather conditions. The installation is pretty easy and painless. Comes with very nice carrying and storage bag which allows me to store it safely. The material used on this tent looks very promising and sturdy.

This thing only takes up to five minutes to set up completely. The instructions are clear, and it comes with all of the poles and gear you need to get it set up. Just pop the poles together and you are good to go. I love that it takes no time or effort to get set up. The tent itself is really durable too. It's thick enough that it won't rip easily and the quality of the fabric is awesome too. Another thing I love about this tent, is how much room it has inside. For a two person tent, it is really spacious. Because of the way it is designed, you actually get extra headroom, so you don't feel so cramped. The door on this tent is also big, which means it's easy to get an air mattress in and out of it, and all of the other camping supplies you need. Also, the way that the seams are built on this, means that if it rains, it keeps the water away from your gear. It comes with the rain cover too which is really important to me. I highly recommend this tent. If you are an avid camper, or even want to just car camp, this tent is for you. It is just perfect for whatever kind of camping you enjoy.
